What I got:Got the labiaplasty + clitoral hood reduction done this morning. Local anesthesia and surgeon did her own proprietary technique, which I was told was similar to trim but the stitches are definitely hid better so there's no scalloping (you know, the centipede look). She used a laser (ellitron machine I believe it's called).
Experience:
The surgery experience was wonderful and virtually painless. I accidentally took a percocet an hour before surgery (which I wasn't supposed to do) so I suppose that helped. I was numbed with cream before the numbing injections, which really did not feeling like anything except a brief 2 or 3 seconds of hot tingling. I didn't feel the cuts from the laser at all, could only smell and see the smoke, and the stitching process felt strangely good. The last stitch I felt because the anesthesia was wearing off, but it only tickled and did not hurt.
Post op:
1 hr later my vag is burning. Walking is very difficult, especially stairs. I had to be carried up the bed.
Peeing burns (similar to a UTI) but spraying it with a shower head (which I read someone else did) was extremely painful and I won't do it again. Using the squirt bottle my surgeon gave is better, but still uncomfortable.
I barfed twice most likely because of the percocet. I hate the feeling of nausea so I'm only taking motrin now. The pain is definitely more than I expected, it feels like your vag is burning off, similar to the feeling when you put alcohol on a bleeding wound. Which reminds me, i am definitely bleeding, which I heard is completely normal for a couple days.
I will attach the before and day 1 photo and keep you all updated, since I know reading these honest reviews helped me a lot and made me feel less alone.
Ps
My surgeon was wonderful! I won't tag her for now since it's only the day of surgery and I know healing can be a rollercoaster, and I want to make sure my review is not biased by feelings. When I'm mostly healed and happy with my results, I will provide more info.

More swelling and still bleeding at the incision and along the stitches. My cat kicked me in the crotch so that probably affected it. The dark purple lines are the stitches. No bruising yet which is nice. It is still very painful to sit, walk, or pee. Ice and lying down really help. Happy with how it looks even though it's a bit swollen. I can tell it's going to heal nicely.

Day 4 looks the same as day 3, increased swelling and a little more bruising of the labia. Luckily I am not bruising or swelling on my majora. THE ITCHINESS HAS BEGUN THOUGH. And my period came 2 weeks early :'( tmi but I guess there's no such thing as tmi for this kind of post lol!
