Ill keep things short and sweet, but to the point. I have always hated my lady bits from since about 12 years old. Finally three kids later and I needed vaginoplasty as well. The staff was great and helped me get the surgery setup up for 8/12/19. Everything went super fast but super smooth!
Surgery day came and i went in prior for my pre op since I was an out of town patient. A few hours later I went under anesthesia. I woke up but was VERY drousy and VERY naseous. Needless to say I had A bad reaction to the anesthesia. My brother took me to a nearby where I slept until about 10pm that night. That's how out of it I was. But I woke up in a tremendous amount of pain And was still throwing up from the anesthesia. I tried to take my pain pills but could not due to just throwing up. This cause extra pressure to my lady parts and added extra pain. The next day I went in and saw my doctor and also picked up some nausea & stronger pain medicine she prescribed me. I threw up one more time after taking the nausea medicine and it finally stopped. So I didn't eat anything the day of surgery and the day after surgery. On day 3 I was still in allot of pain after waking up from the medicines that helped me sleep. This time I was pooping alot and watery, and was able to eat some crackers and drink water. I still had no appetite. From here I stayed pooping up until day 7(post op) which I think cause me more pain. Now let me emphasize, the pain was not from my labiaplasty or my Clitoral hood reduction. It was pain from the vaginoplasty strictly! The throwing up and the pooping prolonged my pain. Non of this is to scare you BUT everyone's body is different and mine was not taking kindly to it. On Thursday 3 days after my surgery I had the catheter removed. Again I had problems and my bladder was not waking up. They gave me meds to help but I still could not pee! So I had to have the catheter out back in a new meds sent to the pharmacy to try and help me pee. I came back the next day and they took out the catheter and I tried again with no luck. So again I had the catheter out in. So I had no choice but to keep the catheter in all weekend until they opened up again on Monday. I do want to mention the nurse named Angel was very very very helpful and calming and loving the whole time through my ordeal and I couldn't be more grateful to her. The doctor said I am in the 1% that cant peee after. ( Yay me right! Sarcastically) Monday I had the catheter removed again and still was not able to pee but was told to go back to the hotel and come back in 4 hours. ( I was still taking the meds to help me pee over the weekend and up to this point) I FINALLY went pee while at my hotel, TWICE. When I went back I emptied my bladder there and they scanned it. I felt alot better having the catheter lessened the pain. About a 6/10 and not a 10/10 as the other days. I would recommend 2 weeks off from work after having all three of these procedures namely the vaginoplasty. But if you feel better sooner and are luckier than me you can go back faster! I will post some pics. Sorry for the long rant( so much for short and to the point haha) All questions are welcomed.

Wow! This sounds intense!! You poor thing!! GA can be rough! How long do you have to wait until having sex again? Are you afraid it will be painful?

6weeks I believe is the minimum. I am a little fearful of that! But I will definitely update when it happens!

I didn't take any pictures the first week because of all the pain and complications j was having. I wanted to update everyday like other ladies, but my body had other plans. I did swell from day one till seven but my swelling was not as bad as some women experience.

As you can see I finally had my catheter taken out, thankfully. I would say having the catheter in did cause more pain. But regardless I rate the vaginoplasty 10/10 for me personally.(probably from all the throwing up and all the pooping) and I would rate the labiaplasty and hood reduction a 0/10 sooo far that has been no pain for me. Just very slight itching
