Please Beware

I dont exactly know where to start as this entire experience has been traumatic and disappointing for me. As a 27 year old woman who is a full time college student, I thought I was making the right decision by investing in a expensive doctor to complete my labiaplasty for me. I was so wrong. My labia has always been an insecurity of mine and on 12/19/24 i decided to make the investment and choose dr ammar. The surgery (labiaplasty, CHR and ft transfer) cost me 10 thousand dollars, additional money for flights, car rentals, hotels/airbnbs and time off work, i lost around 2 thousand more dollars. The first time i seen him the experience was fine, i wrote a stellar google review for his office and took off two weeks or so from work. I did nothing but lay around. I sent his team pictures of my results, expressing that the labias are uneven and i was not satisfied. I kept pushing the issue, he kept telling me it was swelling but i knew it wasnt. I then came to nyc again for an in person visit on 4/18/25, and he agreed that the results were not up to par. He then OFFERED to redo the surgery at no cost which I agreed to. I was so happy, he was nice about it and we scheduled another procedure for 6/5/25. I was optimistic that this time my results would be perfect. I took off another two weeks from work to heal, didnt smoke or drink (they kept insisting i was?). Not sure why i would compromise my healing after I literally paid over 10,000$ but ok. Keep in mind before surgery i sent his team the results i was looking for, and before surgery i again showered him the results i wanted and he said it was possible. I honestly was better off not going for the second procedure because my results this time are worst than the first. My right labia is nearly chopped off, both labias look choppy and uneven, my cliteral hood…. I dont even know how to explain it. Theres a bottom piece of my left labia that he must of forgot trim off so its looks like i have a hanging piece of skin. They said they would get back to me at the 6 month mark, never heard from them again. They said they would have another doctor reach out to me with photos of his work, that never happened either. I have to find a new doctor at some point to revise this but this is just my honest experience. All in all. Please go to reddit and find doctors who have high ratings from this procedure. Its a lesson learned.
