Labiaplasty and Hood Reduction

Not as happy as I thought I’d be

If I’m honest the asymmetry bothers me the most. One side the hood is attached differently than the other and when I told them it bothered me I was met with stares instead of possible steps to fix the issue. It’s better than it was, but absolutely not a wonderful outcome. I don’t know why it was done so asymmetric when I didn’t start out asymmetrical. Here’s Photos of the lopsided hood and one side that’s longer. It’s okay, but now it’s a new insecurity I have and I’m trying to get used to it. For nearly $6,000 you’d think this doctor would be precise.

I had the same EXACT experience. Dr. Nachbar said none of his patients have revisions and offered NO solution... like is it because you don’t want to do?? I’m only 2 months out with same surgery, but he pretty much made me look like I have a big giant clitoris. When asking him if it will change, I could not get any yes or no’s. I will have to write a review but waiting another month

I'm so sorry :/ it blows my mind that you could mess up such a small amount of skin like that. Considering how much he charges you'd think you'd be getting the best of the best. Good luck to you

Did you see any difference after 2 months? With your hood? If it shrinks then I will be pleased. He did good on my mijora, so not completely disappointed.

No, it actually got a little bigger when the scars healed. But it's possible yours is different

How many months would you say it “healed”? Like would you think 2 months after surgery is enough time to evaluate the outcome?

Yeah, 8 weeks is about the time it looked as it does now. The scars on the side I can still see but they fade each day.

I just wanted to post this in case anyone read this, as I didn’t want to discredit Dr. Nachbar. I am one whose all about immediate results. In my case, I had an extensive labiaplastly (ladies, please feel free to inbox me with any questions or concerns) but a week after me freaking out, I’ve seen a much more healed outcome. I’m not 100% what to expect but as of now, I’m EXTREMELY pleased. I will keep all you gals posted, but I also am here to help all whose considering this surgery.

Eight weeks out and doing better

bingbanggirl
The asymmetry really does bother me but it’s better than it was as an upside. Hopefully It will continue to heal and look less different from side to side.

The fourth week is amazing. Stitches disappear finally, your not as sensitive, and I can finally wear normal pants for some time. I’m really happy with the outcome! It is slightly asymmetrical but from what I’ve read online it’s common with this surgery and if you see other photos of ladies with this surgery they look similar. Once it heals I’ll probably try to stretch that area a little to match the other side, otherwise I’m super glad I did this!!! The whole experience was amazing and the doctor was knowledgeable and kind through the entire experience.
