Absolutely Extraordinary Doctor - SO SO HAPPY with Results!!!

Like most people I had to save to get this surgery - and in hindsight would have paid double. It literally changed my life.
I wanted this surgery because my labia suddenly grew. Not after childbirth but 10 years later - and I found myself peeing sideways.
Dr Jason and his team (Vered is an angel - Dr Jason is exceptional) made this a wonderful experience overall and of course, anyone considering labiaplasty is going to feel anxious. From my very first appointment - Dr J spent so, so much time with me, reviewing my medical history and also going over treatment options. I decided to do the procedure under local.
The day of the surgery there was a huge snowstorm, but the team moved heaven and earth for me to come into the office and move forward with the surgery because I was so distraught about potentially losing the date. Aside from a tiny pinch from the numbing injection - the procedure itself was totally painless and took just about an hour.
Recovery isn't a load of fun - but that has nothing to do with the surgeon. It's just a delicate zone. It was both easier and harder than I expected and here's how:
Easier:
1) There was virtually no pain at any given point. I never took pain meds. I was afraid of getting backed up from them (given the area - not ideal!) but just didn't need them. I took Tylenol once, and took Xanax 4 nights in a row to sleep.
2) I didn't swell - AT ALL. This might be unusual, and maybe I was lucky but as you can see in photos - virtually no swelling
3) I saw what my after would look like pretty quickly - and was SO HAPPY!
Harder:
1) if you're an active gal (and I am!) NOT moving for 4-6 weeks is HARD. Dr J (like all doctors) insists that one keeps walking to a MINIMUM for 6 weeks. (I'm so sorry Dr J cover your "ears" for the next sentence LOL -- I actually broke the rules and started walking at about 3 weeks. BUT my results are perfect!!! Anyone reading this - I strongly advise to follow your doctors rules - this was irresponsible of me and I was prepared to accept consequences. I have a very very hard time staying still.
2) I did get the dreaded yeast infection - the first one I've ever had - thanks to the antibiotics. I would rate the yeast infection a 10/10 for pain/disgusting/annoying. The surgery was a relative 1/10 for pain - if that helps put it in perspective for those who (so sorry) know what a YI feels like. I would get this surgery without anesthesia vs EVER having one of those again. ugh!!
3) The sound of the scissors crunching through my labia. I couldn't feel it at all but I could HEAR it. The horror!! Wear headphones!
Otherwise - Dr J called me EVERY day to check in (unbelievable!!) and Vered was always available if I had questions or just wanted to enthusiastically share progressions pics (poor Vered).
Dr Jason is a MAGICIAN, and a true artist - not to mention soooo kind, responsive and brilliant. I feel so lucky I found him - I just wish he operated on other parts of the body too :) - I'm almost sorry I have only one set of labia LOL

Hi! At the 7 week mark I was told I could have sex again.. and did that night. It didn't feel great, but thankfully after all that time ... was over in a few seconds LOL !!! ( thank god this is anonymous). At about 10 weeks everything felt perfect again. Now at 5 months post I can happily report everything works the way it should, sensitivity is normal and orgasms are great! :)

Hi girl, have you ever experienced can not pee straight (splashing pee to the butts and legs)? My friend did the op a month ago and she still can't pee normally. Do you think it's normal?

Oh My God, yes dear. She had op trim method. One is untouched (becaus already small) and the other one was almost amputated and now she can't pee straight anymore. She regret it a lot. Oh God. Dear, do you still have labia? My friend is afraid because the urine now flow from the left side (the one that got almost amputated) to her left butt and legs. Do you think it's because she appear to have almost no labia on the left?

I'm sorry, my bad. Of course you still have labia, they just appear to be so tucked in and neat like barbie.
