6 weeks post op - looks and feels much better!

Book with Her Now!
WORTH IT
I’d been looking into a labiaplasty/clitoral hood reduction surgery for years before I actually decided to follow through and book my appointment. I was hesitant because I read sooo many horror stories & the cost was a little intimidating lol. While I was never insecure about my labia, it was starting to cause me a lot of discomfort in jeans, tight clothes and while working out (i’m very active). I’d recommend anyone wanting to get this surgery book with Dr. Poucher! Her and her team are very sweet and knowledgeable. As soon as I reached out for a consultation, I knew I’d be in great hands and didn’t mind traveling to CA to see her.
Before beginning, Dr. Poucher explained what she would be doing and what the final result would look like which I appreciated because I think it’s important to discuss expectations. The procedure itself was painless. If I wasn’t so anxious thinking the anesthesia was going to ware off at some point, I could have fell asleep lol. In the operating room, Dr. Poucher and I were accompanied by her medical assistant (I don’t remember her name) who was extremely attentive and checked on me several times throughout the procedure. They even helped me put my belly ring back in right after the procedure!
The healing process was a roller coaster for me but we all have different experiences. I was never in pain (other than the day of surgery) but I was in a lot of discomfort for about 2-3 weeks. I did not use the spray bottle while peeing because the pressure hurt. Instead I made sure I had a lot of water which basically diluted my pee so it wasn’t so acidic. There was a lot of swelling and the bleeding did last a while which made me paranoid because i’d read other reviews saying their swelling/bleeding only lasted a week. I don’t recommend comparing your healing process to someone else’s lol I freaked myself out on multiple occasions but Dr. Poucher and Annie were so reassuring every time I reached out with concerns! Eventually I just stopped looking down there and had to trust the process.
I’m now 6 weeks post op and it looks and feels so much better! I love the natural results as I didn’t want a “barbie” look. I read that you won’t see final results of a labiaplasty until 3-6 months post op and i’m so excited to see what it’ll look like a few months from now! I’ll be sure to post an updated picture at that time. I’ll be seeing her for my follow up soon which i’m eager for. I hope this review helped someone! Overall, 10/10. Highly recommend Dr. Poucher and her team.
