I had my first breast augmentation with a donut lift in 2001. I had 350cc mentor textured round. In august of 2015 I found a lump and with a sonogram was confirmed my left implant had ruptured. My original surgeon was deceased so having to find a new surgeon was stressful because i wanted it taken care of right away but wanted to do plenty of research to make sure I found they right surgeon for me. I found Dr. Pousti and I have not been disappointed. I was comfortable with him and his staff from the get go and he had plenty of experience with what i needed to have done, they were very informative easy to contact if I had any questions. Being 46 I contemplated even replacing the implant and just having complete removal. I did decide to replant and glad I did. The surgical staff was great about making me comfortable. They even used compression socks which was wonderful. Don't know if thats normal for everyone but new to me and I loved them. I ended up with 475cc mentor high profile. The recovery has been so much better than first time. Day 1 came home very alert no pain watched tv no problems. Day 2 little rough had some nausea but they did give me anti naudea pills which did the trick, was sore but nothing out of control just took it easy watched movies. Day 3 still good no nausea no real pain. Day 4 switched to Tylenol working just fine hoping tomorrow I can quit that too and get my drain out. Still haven't got to really look at my breast but will upload as soon as I get some pictures of them.

Day 10 got the drain out. Left breast still pretty tender but not needing to take anything. Day 12 feeling really good getting back to feeling more like myself. My implants are under the muscle which I didn't mention before.

Thank you for updating your photographs; you seem to be doing very well. You can expect the breast to take "better shape" over the course of next few weeks. I look forward to seeing you back in the office. Thank you again (and Happy New Year). Tom J Pousti M.D.
