In Spring of 2014 I made a decision to get a breast augmentation (boob job). I wanted bigger boobs. One of the best decisions I've made. I felt great, looked great, and couldn't be happier with the results.
Fast forward to Spring of 2018 I decided it was time to make an upgrade. Though I loved my breast and they were still firm and perky I wanted them to be bigger. After a few back and forth emails with Dr. Pousti and staff I was all booked for my 2nd BA in October 2018.
As an out of towner, actually of out of stater, it may seem to be a complicated process without being able to sit in the office with Dr. Pousti and staff, but it was actually really easy. I emailed them my goal pictures and my dislike pictures. We discussed my options and before I knew it I was good to go. Dr. Pousti's incredible staff kept in touch with me and made sure I had everything I needed before I flew out to San Diego. The day before the surgery I met with Dr. Pousti and his staff to discussed last minute details. Again, it was an easy process. Dr. Pousti and his staff are incredible. They are so nice and very helpful. From the time I walked into the office till I left they did everything they could to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. (They offered water, coffee, even granola bars. Yum!!)
Anyways, so here I am, spending my last evening with 32 GG breast feeling nothing but excitement. I know in less then 24 hours my already incredible breast will be nothing short of spectacular!

Incredible to Spectacular 1 week post op
So its been one week since my upgrade. Surgery went well. Unfortunately I was aiming for 2000cc, but I ended up with 1700cc. I would be lying if I said I wasn't incredibly disappointed when I woke up and I didn't feel or look any different.
We all have expectations of what we are going to look like when we wake up after surgery. For some its that super model body who has a flat tummy with breast that no longer sag from years of being a mommy, for others its having boobs so big they can't see their toes when they wake up. Obviously I am the latter. So waking up and seeing my toes disappointed me.
Anyways, when you go to any doctor/surgeon they will always tell you they cannot guarantee your exact results. You sign what seems like 100 pieces of paper saying the medical staff cannot guarantee the exact final results so forth and so on. So you should be fully aware that things may not turn out to your exact expectations and desires. I know this, I'm fully aware of this, and that is why when I did not wake up with massive boulders on my chest I was just disappointed and not a complete B word to the wonderful medical staff and Dr. Pousti.
Now the reason I did not end up with 2000cc boobs is a simple explanation. It was medically unsafe to do so at this time. From what I understand was that at 2000cc they would've blown the sutures and cause all kinds of health problems. (Imagine putting air in your bicycle tire and the next thing you see is the tube popping out of the tire and now you need a new tube and Walmart is 1000 miles away and your dad wont drive you because you should've been paying attention. Blah Blah Blah. You get the point.) Dr. Pousti and his staff tried and it just wasn't going to be safe. He was not going to put my health at risk just to give me 2000cc breast. Instead he tired his best and got to 1700cc (with an internal bra) without any complications.
Fast forward a week later. I am back home and doing well. My chest is sore sometimes and its a pain to try to keep my arms at my side. I still have to sleep sitting up and it sucks not being able to take a shower. (Last night my SO put a poncho on me to wash my hair in the shower. It worked. My bra and sutures did not get wet.) Daisy, from Dr. Pousti's office, has called me everyday to make sure I'm OK. So I would say overall I'm doing pretty well and looking forward to what the overall results will look like.

They look pretty huge to me! How many CCs was your first boob job?

I only had700s and almost lost enough circulation to compromise my nipples. Please tell me you were warned.... there’s literally no panic worse.

Incredible to not so spectacular 4 week post op.
So it's been 4 weeks since my surgery. There's been some discomfort. Lots of pain in my left breast that made it unbearable to go to work. However, they are starting to feel better.
Unfortunately I still feel a lot of disappointment. They look smaller then before, they look almost square, one is bigger then the other, and I still have a large space instead of cleavage. I'm hoping it's just they are still healing and need more time. What I do like though is they are firm. So maybe there is still hope.

They look great to me-- but I agree, they may just need more time for you to notice a difference. There's no way they'd be smaller after having 700cc added to them, I think they will be exactly what you wanted when they d&f! Congrats on your revision, and wishing you the best recovery and healing. <3

Although I'm definitely not interested in going that large, my hubby would love me to go from my 800s to 1400 or something. I'm good where I am. But have no regrets. XL implants can give beautiful and great fun!!
But I just wanted to drop by and offer some support to another XL implant lady. Not a lot of us on here. I hope you're healing well. Pousti is a good doctor with a great reputation. Just keep in contact with him if any concerns pop up. The healing process and the drop and fluff takes time, you know this. I think going from 1000 to 1700 is a pretty big jump in size and just needs time to settle, just like the first time! But ask him and his staff if you have questions and concerns! That's their JOB. They can tell you what to expect and what's ahead. Don't let yourself wonder and worry...just ask how the drop and fluff and healing process is going to be for your size implants, and a second surgery, etc. They'll be glad to answer your questions! They do NOT want stressed or scared ladies running around with their name attached to the situation! That's never good for business. Lol.
But I wish you the best and also definitely recommend you looking for other XL implant ladies on here (via the search engine) that you can connect with and so you can talk to others who have been in your same or a similar boat.
I hope your healing is quick and easy! And I hope you get to loving your results!
Have a wonderful day! Hugs.
