I’m a 56 year old female that lives in North San Diego County who has had a co2 laser resurfacing of my face. I’m about to enter the workforce again, and I wanted to look younger and he did just that. I wanted more of a long term solution to looking young other than injections. Through a lot of Googling I found Dr. Wu with Cosmetic Laser Dermatology. Gosh, did I luck out. He’s one of the best. He’s knowledgeable, meticulous and a very confident doctor. He listened to my needs and addressed all my questions and concerns. His bedside manner is impeccable. During the surgery I could tell he was very focused and driven to accomplish the desired outcome. This was 7 days ago. I’m feeling great and still healing my face but I’m noticing that the fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin are gone. My face looks more youthful. I would highly recommend Dr. Wu for any procedure you have done. Also, I have to mention Isabella Guiha, his assistant, she’s extremely professional and knowledgeable to.

How badly did this procedure hurt? I've heard it's super painful ...?

"I" felt very little pain. I thought the surgery was virtually painless. After the laser, I felt discomfort. Sometimes a lot and other times very little. Swelling, oozing, itching, redness, warmth. Cold washcloths with vinegar every 4 hours and head back. Cleaning & Occlusive dressing(similar to Vaseline). I really had to follow the post-op directions the doctor gave. I'm now on the 11th day and feel great. If you want a more long term solution to your aging-have it done-well worth it!

I want to correct one thing I said above: Co2 laser tightened my skin.

Co2 laser resurfacing diminished fine line, got rid of pigmentation, gave an overall youthful appearance, however, to get rid of folds in skin-must have something that gives volume, like an injectable facelift or surgical face lift

I'm in Orange County and $6.000 seems high for CO2 Laser, Dr. Miller in Aliso Viejo did that on me but much more reasonable,

Congrats! Co2 worked for me 15 years ago and just now needing to have it redone. Wish I lived closer to Dr. Wu. I live in TRACY, CA and many doctors here only do Fraxtional which do not have the same results.

Similar to Judy, while I live in Los Angeles, I'm about the same age and your before pics look very similar to my situation. Like you, I would prefer something longer term than injections, but don't want a "face lift" or lifestyle lift.....this seems more long term. So would love to hear more from you as you progress. Also, do you mind sharing what the cost of the procedure was? I'd sure appreciate it.

Wow! CO2 laser usually doesn’t cost more that $2500-3000. Did you get something else done to be charged an obscene $6,000!?
