VOLUMA Nightmare

I got Voluma 2 years ago and loved it at first. I looked great. Fast forward 3 months and I got a horrible reaction that turned out to be a delayed reaction to Voluma /V Cross products. The massive swelling was under my eye(one side) and lips and temple .I had to get it dissolved at least 8 times(PAINFUL) over the years and go on massive doses of prednisone and Benadryl. The under eye was so awful looking and impaired my vision .This is somewhat common and doctors will not tell you that. Do not get COVID vaccine if you have had voluma. There are reports of adverse reactions and swelling at injection site. I see my last review on voluma was removed. Two years later , I have no swelling anymore ,thank goodness but the reaction came and went over 2 years and it was a terrible ordeal to go through.I really want to spare anyone that if possible. Stick with another kind of filler.

I have done it all filler- wise and totally on...

I have done it all filler- wise and totally on board to try Voluma which was said to provide longer lasting results. I spent a lot (shockingly more than I thought it would be)
and had filler in my temples, cheeks, around mouth, lips....it looked good for a few months settling in nicely. Then one day , a few months later I woke up and one side of my face was numb. The entire side. I thought it was a stroke or something it was so weird. This lasted for a few days , my GP told me to see an allergist. Then on the third day my lip swelled up.It was then I knew I was having a reaction to filler. I went to the dermatologist and he confirmed. Said it was very rare. A course of prednisone and dissolving the filler, 4500 down the toilet .After much research I come to find that this is not really that rare. It happens and reaction can occur months later. No doctors will let you know how often and when it does they say it is rare ,but please be aware. There is safer filler to use even if the results do not last as long.
