Blepharoplasty Upper and Lower Eyelids with Total Face Fx Laser - La Jolla, CA

Dr. Yoo was recommended to me by a friend and I could not be more pleased. His office and staff were all beautiful! The day of surgery of course there is anxiety on my part, however the staff was calm and helpful that helped me to relax and have confidence in the environment. The surgery went well and due to the thorough job of the staff I was well prepared at home for when I was finished. I followed Dr. Yoo's recommendations to an exact science and the results are AMAZING!! I was anticipating bruising and swelling for weeks. The first week is tough to look in the mirror, however on my 7 day post operative visit the swelling had decreased significantly. I took a week off work and it was sufficient time for my skin and eyes to heal so make up could cover the redness that still remained when I returned to work. I am 4 weeks out now and I am THRILLED with the results! Putting on make up now is a whole new experience and so much fun! Pain was minimal and I only had to take the pain medication for 3 days post surgery. For anyone thinking of having this surgery the key is to take Arnica Montana as indicated on the bottle 3 days prior and for the next 2 weeks post operatively as well. I picked it up at Sprouts or Whole Foods. I had Blepharoplasty...upper and lower eyelids and I did not bruise at all! I would recommend ANYONE thinking about Eyelid surgery to go to Dr. Yoo. He is an extremely gifted plastic surgeon that was a true JOY to work with. Thank you to Dr. Yoo and his office for the great experience and very FABULOUS results!!
