Implant sizes
I felt this was important to add, because during my search not many people disclosed their implant size, especially not this size. In my left breast I got 745, because it was naturally larger. In the right one I got 770 cc, because it was smaller. It was pretty much the perfect balance. They are now the same size! I hope this helps! I could have used this info myself when I was doing my own research prior to surgery.
Amazing Experience
I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Umansky and his staff! So from the top, I am the kind of person that does judge a book by it's cover, simply put if I don't get a warm and fuzzy feeling from the jump, I am out of there. Not in this case. I sent the office an e-mail expressing interest in a breast augmentation and implants. Within 20 mins, Kerry contacted me to discuss this topic. She was over the top friendly, and more than accommodating. I knew if I didn't make this happen right then and there chances were good I'd not come back to it for months, if not years like before. So, I expressed my urgency to get in and have this procedure done. Kerry made arrangements for me to come in the next day for the consult with Dr. Umansky AND scheduled my surgery for July 3rd, another accommodation that Dr. Umansky made, I believe he agreed to do surgery that day even though he wasn't scheduled to. At any rate they met my needs without question or hesitation and made it happen. When I showed up for my consultation the office was clean, the ladies working there all greeted me when I walked in and made me feel very welcomed. When I got in to the exam room the nurse, Margie (I believe) was SO patient and kind with me. Then I met Dr. Umansky. I knew right away just from the way he introduced himself and came down to my level to talk to me that he would be my surgeon. He spent way more time with me than I was slotted for and never rushed me. He gave me his honest opinion and went over my options in detail. He answered all of my questions, and my moms. It was a great experience! I was scheduled and ready for my new boobs! Margie went over everything with me in detail and made sure I understood everything. Surgery day came and again a great experience. I met with the nurse first, then Dr. Umansky made his marks and made sure I understood eveything that was going to happen. I met the anesthesiologist, whom was SO friendly and made me feel like I was in great hands. When I got in to the operating room all of the surgical staff talked to me and walked me through each step that was taking place. When I was redy for surgery Dr. Umansky came in and stood next to me while they administered the anesthesia. He talked to me and held my hand until I was out. I was so nervous when I got there, but he really made me feel comforted when I needed it. Those are the things that matter to me, and that other Doctors lack. Compassion. I don't remember waking up, leaving the office, or the hour drive home. I pretty much slept through the night and came to in the morning. I had some significant pain, and I was pretty nauseous. I also felt really faint and had no energy. It was July 4th and the office was closed, but Dr. Umansky came in to see me for the next day follow up. WOW, although swollen and bruised, my boobs looked AMAZING!! Long story short, it continued to get better from there. I am now 7 weeks pot op, the implants have dropped and my breast looks really natural, the scars are minimal and I get so many compliments on how perfect the "cuts' or scars are. Over all this was an absolutely fantastic experience. I've had several follow ups with Dr. Umansky and his level of care has not changed a bit. I hope that everyone I've referred to him follow through, they will not be disappointed. On another note, both my mom and I will be scheduling with him soon for a tummy tuck, a 2-fer! Also it is worth mentioning that Maritxu is the best! She helped me with something that came up and stayed on top of it, called me daily to check on me! I really found "the office" that I was hoping I'd find when I started my research.
