How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Update
Good Day RS,
Just a little background info.. In March 2015 I had a TT/BBL with Dr. Baez. If anyone wants information about that experience just let me know. I didn’t do a review on her but my results were great. However last year September I gave birth to my second daughter. My TT stayed pretty well but I did gain weight obviously from the pregnancy so I wanted to do my round 2 with Dr. Marcos. Just like everyone else I was sold by the IG pictures and RS. So I contact him via WhatsApp and we went from there. No issues responding to me setting me up with his corrdinator etc. I decided to only do a BBL because I didn’t want to get cut again so soon after having another c-section. I didn’t want to stay at a recovery house I wanted to stay at a hotel and hire a private nurse and driver instead. So Dr. Marcos set me up with his assistant and through SurgiCor I was able to do that. So I arrive at the airport the driver never shows up and I ended up having to pay $40 for a taxi. So ALWAYS have extra money with you for the unforeseen. I guess being that I arrived on a Sunday they weren’t working and they received my payment late. Either way Surgicor refunded me the $40 back from the taxi so that was resolved. I get to my hotel and settle in ready for the next day. The morning after I go to CIPLA for lab work. The driver was courteous the first few days but he was always late in picking me up. I was very upset about that because he was picking up other people and at one point I even had to share with a few other ladies! I paid $60 for private transportation in reality $100 because the airport was supposed to be included. The local taxis are like 150-300 pesos depending on your location so for all that I could have just taken the local taxis and saved a lot of money. But I will get back to the driver later. So I get to Dr. Marcos office and his assistant Issa is there as well as a few other girls waiting for him. When I finally meet with him we go over my body medical questions etc. Second issue: Now in my quote he gave me a set price however when I get there he tells me that I have to pay for insurance and a blood transfusion if I needed one. I think he said $150 for the insurance and $200 for the blood transfusion but if I didn’t need it I would get $150 back! The first issue I had Is this wasnt mentioned in my quote and I showed him as proof and he told me it was a “mistake.” So I told him I didn’t have insurance or blood transfusion money because he never told me I need that. He let me pass on the blood transfusion but I ended up paying and additional $150 for the insurance (whatever insurance is). I don’t mind paying anything when it comes to my health just make me aware first. Secondly I just feel like it’s nonsense becasue he should give back the $150 if it’s not needed as well. I felt like they wanted to make money off of everything. Moving on the day of surgery went well. I refuse to have surgery at the CIPLA so he did my surgery at CEICIP instead. The facility is a nice hospital the nurses were ok spoke good English and was very helpful. I only kept the private nurse for the night of surgery so once I got to my hotel room the next day she left because I no longer needed her. I honestly don’t feel like he did much work with my body because recovery was not bad at all just regular soreness, bruising, swellling, and then the itching. I have been to DR before so I know the process and I pretty much brought everything I needed for myself. Hotel (Hotel Luis) stay was great depending on what you want and what your budget is but I would definitely stay there again. I didn’t have any infections or anything like that I don’t think Dr. Marcos is that Type of doctor but I am just unsatified with my results. Maybe if you are doing a TT you could expect better results but for me I don’t like his lipo work alone and my BBL results are not really a huge difference. I feel like I wasted my time and money. After surgery there were so many girls I barely got to see Dr. Marcos. Which is something else I didn’t appreciate because they have no problem taking your money but once you are over there it is different. Very different and they do what they want to do after they have gotten paid. At one of my post op appointments we waited for him for an hour and when he did come he left right back out and had his nurse look after his post op patients. That to me is highly unfair because you want to ask him questions about your body but he isn’t available or when his is he is seeing other patients. It was so backed up in his office one day that he even had his front desk assistant Issa seeing the post op patients! When I saw her put on some gloves I was shocked and said to myself I refused to let her examine me. Smh Then to top it off the driver was constantly late picking me up and he took over an hour one day because he was trying to pick up/drop off so many people at once. I complained to Issa about it and even asked for another driver. I spoke to the driver about it and he tells me that other ladies paid for the driver too and they all have to wait! Huh excuse me? People who just had surgery should not have to wait period! People who paid for private sevice should not have to share and wait on other people! It was just horrible and more and more I wanted to go home. I wasn’t really happy with my results from the start but I know the swelling has to go down as well as the massages and everything else so I gave it some time. It’s been 7 months now and still the same thing. I have a hernia fibrosis and my BBL results are not that great. When I got back home I spoke to Dr. marcos about my results and he said that I needed to do massages. Here is my thing with massages: Yes sometimes they help however a good skilled lipo job should not require massages! Think about how much money you are spending as it is. Then you mean to tell me in order for me to have a smooth finish I have to spend more money on expensive massages? Or even if someone does it for free, it should not be a mandatory thing that if you don’t do massages your lipo job will be a waste. I’m sorry but that goes to the surgeon. A really skilled doctor knows how to do great lipo and shouldn’t require massages. Massages should not make or break a surgery that requires skills and expertise. I am now left with skin issue, fibrosis, hernia and I will absolutely need another TT to correct this mistake. Next time I am considering Columbia I don’t want anymore work done in DR.

I had surgery with Dr. MARCOS on May 15, 2018. Lipo/BBL He left me with a hernia and bad tissue scarring from the liposuction. My body looks worse then before and the BBL results were the same. Horrible
