CO2 Laser to Tighten Under Eyes

About 15 years ago I started getting dark circles hollows and a few wrinkles under the eyes I think about 8 years ago I tried some tear trough filler which worked well but as I have got older I found the tear trough filler tends to start to go south with the skin that is getting less elasticated. So I enquired about CO2 laser for under eyes with a Surgeon who had already done a good gob on my upper Blepharoplasty a couple of years before Taimur Shoaib at la belle forme clinic.
It was carefully explained to me the down time the risks and what to expect during the healing process. As I am not shy of looking a bit red and sore in public and can cope with long down times not to mention a dab hand at a bit of man makeup I decided to go for a double pass just on the troublesome areas in the tear trough and single pass over the cheek and crows feet area. I was numbed with numbing cream first then injected with a local anaesthetic, eye protection was put in and after a few zaps of the laser it was all over pretty quick and painless. The nursing staff where so lovely and gave me some healing cream to put on my eyes for a few days.
6 months down the line and I am very happy with my results to be honest it has exceeded my expectations I was expecting a freshening of fine lines but I think I got full on tightening and plumping of skin with has taken that area under my eyes back 20 years.
I have taken some pics to show daily, weekly healing, I will not bore you with the day to day run down of how it heals basically you will be red, weepy and shiny form Vaseline for up to 2 weeks then red and flaky for a few weeks after that, but this is with a double pass I am sure if its just a single pass its a lot less dramatic downtime.
A couple of things to add the final pic of all the stages combined is top pic me before anything 15 years ago middle pic after years of tear trough filler losing its battle with gravity and bottom pic 6 months after CO2. Also ignore my various stages of semi permanent eyebrows too. Any questions feel free to ask.

Your results are amazing! I have done Fraxel twice and for some reason I feel my undereyes look even worse than before. Though other areas of my face are greatly improved. Considering CO2 but I get married in September and I think it's not enough time to fully recover and too risky. I think I will do this in 2018. Great results!

You should be ok by then but better to be safe than sorry and thanks for the compliment :)

Amazing result. Was this fractional, or full on 100% ablative?
How did the crows feet wrinkles fare?

I don't know the answer to this you would have to ask the surgeon. I don't really have a problem with crows feet they wrinkle when I smile but the don't seem to stay when I relax thankfully.

So pathetic to see people with no flaws just go out of their way to get all these procedures while there's people with actual scarring on their faces and actual problems on their faces..lol..just pathetic

Beautiful result. Wish I could find that in the US.

I recently had the CO2lazer on my eyes in Florida. It is common to have this procedure in the U.S.

I wish you would post a blog about it - where you went, cost, age. Did you have good results? Are you young?

Also, did you have inner protective lenses. I met one doctor who didn't use them, so wasn't sure he was careful.

Richtea - I'm not finding reviews on it. Lots of laser on face but not so much the eye area.

The protective inner lenses are to protect your vision. I believe most surgeons insert lenses but have heard they are not easy to insert.
