From the moment we began our consultation, Dr. Dauer's genuine and considerate manner put me at ease for what would be my very first cosmetic surgery (eyebrows). In fact, he was the only surgeon who actually agreed to have an in-person consultation with me. Prior to my surgery, the communication remained very open; there wasn't a question I emailed that wasn't promptly answered.

On the day of my surgery, with my nerves clearly getting the best of me, Dr. Dauer, with his incredibly calm and sincere bedside manner, assured me everything would go exactly as we'd planned. He was right. In fact, my surgery went better than planned because when I looked in that mirror when he was finished, it was difficult to not start sobbing on the spot. His work has changed my life. That statement sounds quite dramatic, until you undergo the experience and see the difference post-surgery, knowing you will never have to draw your eyebrows on again.

There are so many hair transplant surgeons in LA and NY, it was initially hard for me to wrap my mind around how I'd find the perfect one. But once I began considering my non-negotiables, the list dwindled. After much, much research, the only logical choice for me was Dr. Dauer. My logic sure came through for me on this one!

If you can get an appointment with him, you'd better book it! I can't imagine putting such an important life decision in any other surgeon's hands.
