Before and after pictures....18 weeks apart.
I should also say I’m 9lbs (!) HEAVIER now than I was when I started this journey in December.... perhaps if I get round to losing the 9lbs the difference might be more noticeable?!

Oh my gosh, drunner, you look FANTASTIC!!! Look at your chiseled chin in the front view pic!!! I can't believe how great your results are! Side is beautiful, too. Seriously, just amazing. I am so shocked at this point. I am somewhat fearful about my second round which is scheduled for May 6. More money but also summertime exposure and more huge swelling. How do I hide that?? You have given me great encouragement and strength to go on though, I must admit! This procedure has at times taken it out of me. I hope my results are half as good as yours!
Your second treatment will be a breeze compared to the first one! I found that the swelling wasn’t as bad (I had some but nowhere near what I had on the first round). The swelling also didn’t last as long...I think I only wore a scarf for a couple of days after round 2. It healed a lot quicker too, although I had serious lumps underneath the skin. These bumps weren’t visible, only to me. If you check back on my review you can check the swelling from the second round, it really wasn’t as bad as round 1. Please don’t give up hope! I too thought it was a complete waste but now I can see the change as well as feel a difference. I hated the swelling and the recovery but I’m now glad I didn’t get lipo. Keep me updated & don’t give up hope!! It’s still early days
I so appreciate your support! The big difference between me and you is this... I am overweight and went into my first treatment with that great disadvantage. My results are not good, and the second treatment is not going to do what yours did for you. I just got back from a week vacay with hubby, and the videos are terrible... I thought things were slightly better than they were, I guess, until I saw the vacation videos.. I have no idea how or when I can get the second round without the scarf disguise since it is heading into May now. My appointment is May 6 and then I am supposed to be going out of town for Memorial Day a few weeks later. I just can't show up with an even worse frog neck than I already have!!! What to do, what to do!?!?
Maybe reschedule your appointment until after Memorial Day? And leaving it longer between rounds might help your recovery from the 2nd round. I have my fingers (& everything else!) crossed that you get good results from this!! I totally appreciate how you’re feeling right now as I’ve been there. Don’t lose hope...it’s still early days!!!

Update

It’s now been roughly 18 weeks since my 1st treatment (of 3 vials) and 9 weeks since my 2nd round (of 2 vials).

I feel (finally!!) that I’ve turned a corner. I’m much happier with my profile. There is a difference, although I’m not sure how much of a notable difference there is to what it was like before I started. One side looks better than the other. The right side (with the mole on it) doesn’t seem as good as the left, although this side has always been my ‘bad side’.

My friend says that there is a change in my profile and my husband can no longer pinch the fat under my chin (he’s such a charmer ????).

I also feel that, weirdly, some of the loose skin on my neck has tightened up a little. It doesn’t feel as lax as it used to. But I still need to sort out the wrinkles on it (Botox just isn’t enough for those!).

Sometimes I think I may go for another round of Kybella but not until the winter....can’t hide behind scarves in a SC summer that’s for sure! Will see how I feel in the autumn and will take it from there.

For all of you out there who are still on this journey....don’t give up! It’s a long slow process for sure, and the swelling and lumps are no joke. But you will get there in the end!

I’ll post some side by side pictures soon but for the moment here are some taken this morning. Let me know what you think.

Looks good! I'm 2 weeks and one day out from the injections and I'm still pretty swollen and a hard lump. I'm 42 and in good shape. Fingers crossed this lump continues to go down!

14 weeks on

It’s now been 14 weeks since my first round of Kybella. My neck and chin feel great, there’s no wiggle or jiggle and it feels nicely tighter and I can’t pinch as much as fat!

I still have a couple of lumps which will hopefully disappear soon.

However, from any pictures I take, I cannot for the life of me actually see any difference in how my profile looks. I’m now wondering if I should go for a 3rd round (but that won’t be until the winter...there’s no way I can hide the massive neck in the summer ????)

I’ll do a side by side comparison in a week or 2, hopefully by then I’ll actually see a difference

Friend, what I would give to have that result! I'm not even sure why you would a third round. Maybe I need to refresh my memory about your before pictures and do the comparison! Seriously, you look great. Glad you posted again! I've been waiting for some news!
There is a noticeable difference!
