devastating results !!!

$1,530
I wish I had a do over! Any firmness under my chin has fallen. I cannot express how heartbroken I am and now have to seek surgical treatment to correct it. It looks rounded and worse than I could have ever imagined. I tried microneedling twice after and had a co2 laser treatment. I honestly think surgery is my only choice. I want my money back. I want to go back in time. The nurse never should have done this and she has said she has never seen this result. Please help!!!! I can’t stand my profile. So grateful for masks right now!

I am really sorry that you're not having a satisfactory result. Did you only have the one treatment? Most people need multiple treatments, given 6 weeks apart, for a total of UP TO 6 treatments. One treatment is definitely not enough. Were you ever happy with it? Did you gain weight ( some fat cells are left behind )You said it was a nurse who injected you; is She a board-certified dermatologist? What made you prefer this over lipo? As the lipo is so much less money and you see a much faster result. There's a lot of variables for Kybella to be really effective like your body fat % and your age and your skins ability to tighten itself. Have you spoken the the lady?
I've never found lipo to be less? Not by a good Dr anyway. Have you had a different experience?
Dr Patel ( double board certified facial plastic surgeon ) in Hollywood CA charges 2500 for chin lipo. https://youtu.be/Ut6XhB4rDvA
Sorry I meant to say Dr Sagar Patel located in Beverly Hills. (Not Hollywood) And he has listed his price on his YouTube channel for $2500 For chin Lipo. He is also also listed on here and he has fantastic reviews.
I only had the one treatment but with 3 vials. I am very thin - no weight gain. I am scared to death to get any more Kybella injections after this experience. I didn't have enough fat before to consider lipo. Now it looks like I have an extra layer of fat that just kind of droops down. I had my first surgical consultation and the doctor recommends a neck and cheek lift with lipo. It will get rid of the excess fat and really tighten up the skin. The cheek lift is being suggested to minimize future buckling from aging. $12,000. OMG. I want to cry. I would do anything to reverse my decision!!! The nurse is a registered nurse and she told me this morning to be patient. I am well beyond that point. I am going to get two more surgical consults and explore non-surgical options as well. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I think that's at the five month mark you should see a result. You should get a couple more consultations and make sure that you are seeing face surgeons only and I recommend only go with double certified surgeons. Make sure you see before and after's and ask how many surgeries they do a week and how many they've done in their career. Best of luck I'm sure you'll get this sorted out, sadly it's going to cost you more money.
Oh, you meant overall. Sure. That would have been best. But now she's got the cost of both.
the youtube link says "The current cost is $3499. This includes OR, facility and surgical fees!" (as of march 2020).
i'm wondering if that would be a better option for me than kybella now. thank you for sharing!
You're right, lipo is less.
I'm so sorry about your result. I've considered Kybella but have heard too many horror stories. I hope you can find a resolution. Did they not warn you of the risks? I had Thermage done (before I found this site) and I'm having problems with a couple of spots in my neck (fat melting) and I have nerve damage on one side. I didn't know there were so many risks. The comment before me talked about multiple treatments, don't risk more Kybella. Just because somebody got lucky, it doesn't negate your situation. I do hope you're able to find a treatment that will help. You're beautiful. Stay strong.
Thank you! Live and learn. The good news is that surgery can fix most ANYTHING these days but it's crazy expensive. I was not warned at all about this result/risk. I hope you are able to resolve your issues - you poor thing! HUGS!
We have had the same result exactly I’m so very sorry
I am 17 months free my first treatment & spent a total of $5200 on Kybella. I am left with large firm lump under my chin/neck, no reduction & am very self conscious. I researched lots before getting this & am extremely upset too
Ughhh I’m so sorry you have suffered the same result as me :( I wish I could tell you there was a reversal or surgery to fix it but I have had no success and it’s cost me a fortune
Can I ask what surgery you had done to correct it and why it wasn’t successful? I’m going through the same thing
I have a huge lump under my chin over a year after treatment. I had two treatments and 4 vials total. I don’t know what to do now and I am super self conscious about it.
