Four weeks post op lower body lift with tummy tuck

As I am writing this I am almost five weeks post op. I feel really good. I did have some discomfort when the incision on my back started waking up. It was just "sensitive" to the point of I didnt want anything touching it. A few days later it was less sensitive. I am walking and just starting elliptical this week. I felt fine. I expected to see more abdominal swelling than I did. Although maybe I didnt because I am still having alot of swelling. I blame this on myself...salt and not wearing my compression garmet as I should. Sometimes I just want to wear a shirt or dress that shows off my new shape and I gi e kn. Always regretting it in the evening when the swelling is always worse. I am going on a cruise in three weeks and am telling myslef now I really need to be compliant with the compression. I am thinking that the more fluid that builds up the more inflammation I will have which leads to more fluid. I am not sure if this is exactly how it works but am going to tell myself that anyway. The salt...it is a struggle. I am teri g not to lose any more weight so I know I. Red to eat a little more, but my brain says...eat everything!!! Geez...this struggle is real!!! I DO NOT want to gain this weight back. I hope that if I stop letting myself get so hungry I can get control again. Although the salt...I'm not sure. I have always loved it and feel like I gotta have something, right? I took some more pictures at the 4 week mark. I think I look smaller than I do in these pictures. Maybe I do, maybe not, I dont feel like I am getting an honest opinion from my hubby. Even with all the swelling I still love my results. Wish I had the money and time to get my whole body done. I would endure it but I dont want to spend that much. I still go back and forth about my breast lift. I mean, I can lift my girls up. It's the deflation that bugs me the most. Still trying to decide on that. Here are more pics.

Post Op 20 days

Cant believe it's been almost three weeks. I go back to Dr. Tomorrow to get rest of belly button stitches removed. I feel like I am doing so good that maybe I doing something wrong, based on other 's post. I k ow everyone is different but I know this girl right here is a baby when it comes to pain. For example, I worked an 11 hour day yesterday. I am a nurse practitioner so I am sitting then standing all day. I felt so good when my husband asked if I wanted to go out as in to a bar, I was like yas!!!!Not only did I go out, iI felt good enough to do one of the line dance things. Not the wobble but the other one. I did have one and a half long island teas. They said no alcohol for two weeks after my surgery, so I thought one or two wont hurt. (I have been super strict about my diet only eating nutritious foods and drinking tons of water) Today I think I probably shouldn't have danced, stayed out till 2 in the morning, drank alcohol, and then had to get up and go to work at 10:30 this morning because I k ow how important rest is to healing. I wont do that again until I am beyond the 6 week mark, but my point is I felt good enough to do it. Thats CRAZY!! I have been wearing my binder and compression garmet constantly (except for wash every other day)until I peed on it at work yesterday (its crochless), and then ran off and left it at work. So tonight it's back on with my binder. They say o e more week with both then I can do one or the other..My nurse recommended doing compression for 12 hours then bi deer for 12 for three more weeks and gradually weening myself out of them during that time. I am using scar gel.on my incision. It's so weird touching it and barely feeling it, although I am getting more and more feeling every day. I do not like packing my belly button. It doesnt hurt, but I just have doing it. Ahe says I have to pack it for one more week then a marble in it forI dont onow how long.
I feel like my belly looks gross cuz my skin is all dry and flaky on my abdomen I think from wearing the compression garmets all the time. Also, I have this brown sticky stuff at various place around my incision. It looks like I have poo smear above my butt crack., and I cant get it off. My husband used alcohol swab but only got o e area too budge. Anybody have any suggestions?
I will post pics tomorrow. I am excited to say that when I walked in to the bar, someone said "wow girl you have lost some weight, you look amazing"! Yippee!! I was wearing the same before flat side jeans but I had to stick them in dryer to shrink them down a little. It was amazing to just slide them on verses wrestling them on and being g able to wear a form.fitting white thinner cottoned t shirt that there was no muffin top sticking out of. AND I COULD BREATHE!!! MY booty didnt look too flat either..but they are Rock Revival jeans... nobody 's booty looks bad in those. I'll update you lovelies tomorrow after my post op appt.

15 days post op lower body lift with lipo to outer thighs

Recovery is going well. So well, it's really hard to make myself slow down and rest like I am supposed to be doing. Got the last drain out today after work. Work went great too btw. I have an office job that does not require any lifting , pulling. Just getting sitting at computer and getting up for about 10 mins at a time. I worked two half days in a row (half to me is 6.5 hours. By the second day, I was sore when getting into my car, but not so bad I had to take pain medicine. I did take a muscle relaxer tho. I am in compression and binder 24/7. I only take compression garmet off for a few hours every other day to wash. I could use two,but they are expensive. So I will make do. After all, after I am healed...bye bye spanks, compression garmets, waste cinches. That's the whole point ,right?? I can tell the swelling has gone down in my belly a ton since the first week of surgery. I am not realizing how swollen I was and still am according to the nurse. I cant believe how this has affected how clothes fit. I am 5'10 and weigh 188. I was 198 the day of the surgery. I tried on a ton of clothes the day my last drain was removed. I just was so excited. Prob wasn't a good idea tho because I sprang a leak from 5he drain site and was leaking the serious straw colored fluid all over my clothes. More laundry now!. So far, this was a great decision and worth every penny of that $15,700 (total cost with anesthesia and operating room). Praying things to continue to go smooth. I am continuing to eat foods that aid in my healing and doing two protein shakes a day. Posted some pics so you can see my progress
