Three weeks post op!

Everything has been going great! I have very little soreness except in the morning . my left has filled out nicely but my right is still high, tight, and square. I'm not too worried bc I use my right hand often and I figure it takes longer to drop on the dominant side. I have discovered I still have two stitches left in my areola which I will address with my Dr on Monday at my followup appointment. Overall, I've been back to work with limited modifications to no lifting over 10-15 lbs and I've been doing just fine. I'm still aching to workout at the gym. This whole soft and fluffy body thing is for the birds. But all worth the safety of healing! Happy healing y'all!

Two weeks post op!

Can I just say how much I love my new boobs! My PS is seriously a rock star. I feel soooo blessed that I was given the chance to have a more youthful appearance by a trusted (worthy of that trust BTW) plastic surgeon. Anyways, my pain is basically gone other than the occasional "morning boob" pain. I have only walked at an incline at the gym but I feel very strained if I attempt at jogging. (I am used to running a 6- 6.5min mile and around 25 miles per week so this is super hard on me.) My incisions are perfectly healing. Only complaint I have is the hard task in finding a comfortable and supportive bra without wire. Bc I am 32 in around, and around a DDD, It is merely impossible to find one. I have found that a 36 DD is close but it rides up under my incision causing irritation. I am at a loss, but that's a first world problem!!!

5 days post op. PHOTOS!! Bra changing. Etc

My allergic reaction is less noticable but can feel a uncomfortable feeling around incisions. Still tightness feels it comes in waves and I've been instructed to start massages. (But I was at appointment alone so I have no one who knows proper technique) yesterday, per recommendation, I found the best bra ever. The genie bra from Walmart. Inexpensive and sooooo comfortable. Comes with a middle zipper and without a clasp. I opted for the no closure. It fits amazing. I am 33 inches around but since my implants are 550 it can be challenging when I buy sports bras. They either don't cover my breasts but fit around perfect or they are too loose to feel supportive. The genie bra in a medium is great and comfortable on my lower lollipop incision where meets the crease. I haven't needed any dressings to provide more comfort. Anyways here are some pics!!!!

I had my mind made up of what I expected my breasts to look like prior to entering a couple different offices for consults. Dr reath was my second consult after seeing a dr that all of my friends had gone to. Upon meeting him and his staff I felt I was drawn to that dr. During my consult he gave me his version of what to expect and it was all based on reality and safety. I felt he was promising that I would be happy would and safe with his prescribed operation. We compromised with what size implants we chose. (I had been told I could go way larger by previous dr. However the previous dr NEVER mentioned any risks or complications of exceeding a certain size) dr reath wanted to minimize risks and repeat operations . he educated me while measuring and assessing my pre surgery body. Let me tell you what he has done for me! He has over delivered!!!! My results exceeded any "unrealistic" idea I had. He has made this experience worth every ache I've felt and dollar ive paid. I would absolutely never go to anyone else. His followup care is beyond attentive. He ensures u are satisfied but also that you are comforted and safely healing. He calls the night after surgery! His staff are prompt to help at every call. The surgical staff he uses are phenomenal. (I even had a nurse who hadnt often worked with dr reath comment on my work at recovery bed "his technique is so impressive. He made sure you will have the most minimal scarring. I'm very very impressed and I saw the entire procedure." He will not disappoint if you go to dr. Reath!
