10 weeks still settling

WORTH IT$4,800
Implants are settling ok. Right breast seems fine. But my left breast was the tuberous one and the implant looks like a small "double bubble" kinda. I'm pretty positive it's still settling into the pocket. I've had some pain in that breast I assume is the muscles and tendons stretching or healing from being cut and shaped for the tuberousness.

Thank you soooo much for sharing! Please share more! I'm on the taller side with slightly tubular (don't you hate how that sounds?!) breasts and I'm very interested in how you are recovering. I've been told I might need a nipple lift but on this site it's rare for women to get a nipple lift for being tubular...? I can't wait to see more progress pics! :) Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Glad I could help :) I'll keep updating!

Stitches out and Gym release!!!

I had my stitches out at 6 days post-op. My PS put steri-strips on which are slowly coming off. I don't want to pull them off so I'll just let them do their thing.
He told me to get some Palmer's skin oil to rub on the scar. I haven't started using it due to the steri-strips still on. He showed me how to "massage" the implants. I press up, down and side to side once a day. I'm not sure if he told me how long to do this, but I have a 6 week post-op appointment. I'm going to continue until then and wait for work if I need to continue.
My PS also gave me the go ahead to go back to gym! Which makes me very happy!! Obviously he said no hard running or chest exercises.
I'm still wearing a sports bra. He said I could change to a non-underwire when I feel comfortable. I'm anxious to know what size they are for now; it gives a better idea of what they maybe be after d&f.
I've been back at work for 3 days and I feel pretty normal. The first day was rough. I hadn't stood for 8 hours while on vacation, so gravity took its toll a little. But some acetaminophen helped that.
I'm so thankful for all the info I've found on this site. Because without it I'd probably freak out a little at how differently my breasts are changing. My left is taking longer and still looks kinda square. But after reading and seeing other pictures, I've been comforted in knowing this is completely normal! I continue my review with the hopes of being helpful for other as well. Thank you realself members!!!!

Looking great!
Thanks :)
You are so helpful thank you for posting my surgery is on the 20th !! I do nails hair pedicures ext...I was really hoping that I was being realistic on taking only 5 days off,I think with your post and a few others, I think I will be fine! !
Glad I could be helpful! And I think you'll be alright with 5 days off. You may be a little sore the first couple days back, but taking tylenol should help :) Good luck with your surgery!
You look great! So glad you are doing well. I know you are happy to be back in the gym
Thanks! I never expected to be a gym person, but once it's in your blood, it's hard to give up lol
Do you have any new photos? ?I just had my opp today, I'm hours out of surgery and kinda depressed? I know it's just the meds they used but it's terrible. And ur looking so good it might uplift my spirit
Aww I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough go of it right now. I think lots of women have been in your shoes. There's no need to worry. I haven't had much change in looks. Most of my recent changes have been the internal feelings. I plan on posting an update in a few days since the visual changes aren't much.
Try getting some rest. The meds will be out of your system shortly. Don't worry :)
Gosh I hope so I go to sleep and wake up bawling like a baby, thank you so much for posting u really have inspired me

Gurgles and feelings

Day 3 post op.
No pain just "pressure" I guess that's the best description. Just an awkward feeling of you can tell there's something there that wasn't before. I have slowly been trying to do daily things like putting clothes on. Taking the dog out. Just getting used to the way the implants move. There's been weird gurgling too. Putting deodorant on and making a ponytail is still kinda tricky.

Great description of the pressure that you feel. Totally hit the nail on the head. The gurgling goes away after a couple of days (though I have to say that I found it entertaining! haha)
It's an interesting "side effect" to say the least lol
Those noises kept me entertained for a week or two! Lol. Glad you are feeling so well.
