Really loving that I went through surgery

WORTH IT$11,000
The scars are healing pretty well it's three weeks and the little bump in front of ear that's part of ear has healed miraculously! I was super worried about that little piece since the tightened skin is cut there and reattached onto the ear. Swelling is still in my face along with numbness. I was also concerned about the ear lobe and I had a lot of frequent bleeding while the ear lobe reattached back to my face. It's a crazy journey to turn back time. I really do not regret going through this since it's the only possible way to achieve my desired results. Dr. Gregory is so exceptional in his work I'm still baffled at how he can achieve such a natural result. He explained all the different types of skin and its thickness we have and how he needs to blend the thin skin on the ear to the more layered skin on the face to produce a natural blended transition. A real master of the arts at work.

Today the numbness seems to be the main remaining issue. My neck and one side of my face. The effects of laser are really starting to show much of my prior sun damaged skin is mucho improved. I have to host a party tonight and I'm wondering what crazy story I will invent to cover my chin stitches .

Looking so good! Your neck is amazing. Do you have dermablend or some other good concealer? Betting no one notices the chin scar at all! But, wondering why you would be hosting a party so soon after surgery? You are, indeed, a brave woman!

I didn't have a choice my step sons birthday and he invited the nosy relative that's very judgmental. It's all good you have to be prepared for life's challenges. I'm super happy I am over the first few weeks.

Girl have you looked in the mirror? No one will be paying any attention to your chin. You face will steal the show! I don't really understand the secrecy behind PS. You wanted a noticeable improvement, right. So own it. You look amazing. The numbness will be with you for months so try to get comfortable with it. Enjoy your event!

Hello, You are looking so good! I've read all Your stories, so interesting and exciting. I will go to Prague from Sweden next month for facelift SMASS and i'm so excited. Thank You for giving Your story, good and bad things. Hoping You are satisfied and that You are getting better day by day. Best regards Sofie

Best of luck to you! I hope you'll post your adventure too. Is it less expensive in Prague? I'm not sure what SMASS entails? Will you have eyes done?

i don't regret the surgery I just regret how little time I put into deciding to cut myself up. I know in time the numbness will fade and the tightness will feel normal the results are better than expected but what a severe step to do to look good. Surgery is NOT for the timid.

I think the emotions you are experiencing right now are normal at this stage of healing. I have seen many women here talking of depression and second thoughts during the second week of recovery. You will be happy about your decision soon I am sure. Just be patient and good to yourself.

Its normal to have the blues after surgery. It has to do with anesthesia and many people get mild to heavy post op depression and feel weepy. It will pass, just hang in there and try to keep your mind occupied with other things. You look GREAT!

I agree with the messages before me. Take comfort in knowing how beautiful you look and in 3 to 6 months you will look in the mirror and be happy you did it. You really do look fantastic. =)

I think I can speak for a lot of women doing our research on rs when I say "Thankyou for posting and sharing through all phases of your journey. It helps to see what to expect." I just hope I am in the right frame of mind to recall all these tid bits of information after the surgery. Have you tried positive afformations? I read somewhere on here that you should print them out before surgery and have them handy when doubt and depression set in.
Best wishes to you....you do look beautiful!
