I went to a post op today and had all of the strips replaced. Underneath I thought the incisions would be bigger due to the dried blood. Dr. Remington is incredible. Not only do my smallest pair of underwear cover the scar but it looks practically healed.
He did need to open up my right breast and squeeze out some fluid. Yikes! He also attempted to get some fluid from my tummy but barely any came out.
Swell hell is becoming easier to deal with. Positive thinking!! I am wearing my CG'S 24/7. I only take them off for showers. I am embracing my new breasts and tummy. This is day 8! I can't believe the progress my body is making. I have been following the Dr.s orders and I am so thankful that I had this done.

I am so emotional and it's really annoying.
We went to my post-op yesterday and I felt great! Doc says everything looks really good. We are all very pleased with the results. He took the plug from my bb and it's cute! He also took out my drain. That was awesome since I expected to have it longer. Thank u Dr. REMINGTON!
On our way home we decided to stop at target for some Aleve. He said it was ok to take and may help with the swelling. While we were walking I got super nauseous. Ugh. I was feeling so good and I went downhill fast. So we went home.
I took another shower last night and it was awesome. Im trying to do more on my own. My swelling is so bad still. My back is swollen, legs, tummy. So I have been icing as well. Still no relief to my huge body feeling. My man says it will take time.
I am trying to be patient. I feel flat but not small by any means.

Your scar is so low! You look great!!! I think you are dealing with this very well. You are getting through the swelling, bloat, gas, pain, tiredness. Soon you will have your energy back, the swelling will subside, and you'll be able to enjoy all the activities you did before. Just takes time. Hugs. Think forward to how amazing you are going to look this summer!!! I'm thinking of planning a beach vacation. You should too! :)

Thank u! Yes we are planning a big vacation in August. I hope to get my energy back soon too. Its hard being this exhausted when I dont do anything! Trying to stay positive!

Swelling increases until it peaks at 5-7 weeks, then continues in some respect for 9-12 months. You have not yet seen "swell hell"! In about a month you will look back fondly upon today, when you were "barely swollen". Just know to expect it, and it won't upset you so badly. All the channels for lymph fluid drainage in your entire abdomen have been completely disrupted, and it will take months and months for them to gradually rebuild. It is normal. You may even have to wear elastic pants at the 5-6 week mark, or buy some a size or two bigger than now. Just don't let it freak you out - it is what is supposed to happen! This is basically a year-long recovery, total....

Also, fluid settles to the pubic area when you have been up and about, since it is the lowest part of your abdomen - it is normal and isn't permanent.

Ugh I can't imagine being any more swollen. I am huge and completely tight. I'm trying to stay positive since I am so uncomfortable. The labia was really swollen but that is normal now. Felt very weird!

I am so sorry...but wait and see! Lol! But you will get though it just like the rest of us did...it will be OK! You just haven't seen anything yet....

Swell Hell will be with you for a while. But, it will eventually go away. You look great. Glad you are happy with your incision lines.

Thank you! Swell hell is the hardest part for me. I can't wait for some relief. I feel like I put on 20 lbs. At least when the swelling goes down, I'll have a cute bb and nice boobies lol!

On my third day post op swell he'll set in, now I'm 15 days post op and I'm not very swollen in the mornings but in the evenings it's major swell hell, right now i can't wait to be able to work out again! You look great! Happy healing!

Yesterday I was so swollen. It may have been because I over did it. I was able to take a shower and remove all off the guaze!
My breasts look awesome! Just what I wanted. My tt incision also looks amazing. All of my undies and any bikini will be covered by it. No wonky lines either.
I finally do the big ol' bm last night. That was a relied also. It was stressing me out.
Today my swelling is so bad around my tummy and back. It feels like I'm going to pop! Not sure what I can do about it. I have been icing. I did email my dr. About some major swelling down in the hoohoo labia dept. He said it was normal.
Post-op is at 11:45 today. Im exciting to see what my Ps gas to say about everything.

Yea! Glad you are happy. I bet you look great! The swelling is normal, unfortunately even in the hoohoo. I didn't know about this site before my MM and had no clue that the hoohoo region would kindof be moved up after surgery. I was surprised. That's why this site is so great.

Looking good. Swelling sounds normal. But ya, it does kinda feel tight and like a fully inflated beach ball, lol. As soon as you are able (when it doesn't hurt), start rubbing the tummy (NOT incision) lightly with Bio oil or coconut oil. It helps de-sensitize the tummy and help circulation. This REALLY helped me. I think I was able to start doing that toward the mid/end of week 2 PO. Looking awesome, continued good recovery. :-DSuzy
