3 months out and doing fantastic!
WORTH IT$7,200
Its been awhile since my last review. Everything is going really well. I'm so happy with my results. They've "dropped and fluffed" lol they are exactly what I was hoping for. I'm going to go bra shopping soon! That will be fun, I'll post some pics when I do. Oh yes and all the sensation has come back to my nipples. I said I would update on that on my last post. That happened around week 3 I believe. The incisions are super soft and fading already. Dr. Windle has amazed through with this whole process! Sometimes I forget I ever had a surgery, there was no trauma involved. It was almost too easy. I'm not complaining though!

9 days post op!
The swelling has gone down a lot, and the bruising is starting to heal up. I removed the tape from the stitches 2 days ago and the scars are healing up really nicely! They are starting to feel more like a part of my body now, and less foreign. The only time a feel any pressure on them is when I'm getting in and out of bed now, otherwise there is little to no soreness now. My mom stayed with me this whole week to help me out with the kids. I found that I felt good enough to do most of my housework, but I had to slow down a bit because I was feeling so good I thought I could do more than I really should have. I woke up a little more sore the next day so I tried to relax and let my mom do most of the chores (which is really hard for me, lol.) The hardest thing is not being able to lift up my kids. My doctor told me I'm okay to pick them up, but I was feeling a little sore after picking up my 2 year old so I decided I should wait on that for a little while. I drove my 5 year old to school, which is 25 min away with no trouble. I was 6 days post op when I drove him, but I think I would have been fine to drive him earlier. So far I only have sensation in my left nipple, so I'm hoping the other one comes back soon! I think that is supposed to heal in the second week so I'll let you know how that is going on my next review. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Happy to read you're doing great, & they look wonderful! ! Im sure the nips self heal too w timexo My nips are 'tender'on n off ..nothing severe but im finding for now i must wear several layers to hide nips..
I m checking in to see how you are doing a few months out. I had an app with dr windle yesterday and loved the way he described the process but I felt weary, didn't actually work? Your review has been really helpful! Thank you for sharing and I'll be following along:/) GnG
Hi, I know it's hard to believe, but yes it really does work. It was almost too easy lol. I was never in pain through the whole procedure and recovery. There was a little discomfort getting up from a laying down position. I had to have my husband help me out of bed a few times. Its mostly just uncomfortable to flex them for the first few weeks. I would describe it as sore like after working out rather than painful though. I did the arm exercises ( just stretching your arms over your head for about 10 seconds) and it relieved them if they started feeling sore at all. I only had to do that for the first 2 days and when I got out of bed for the first week. I hope you have an easy recovery as well. Good luck!
Also, I would be happy to answer any questions you might have concerning the procedure with Dr. Windle.
Did you breast feed previous to BA? Windle said I was on the verge of needing a lift , but the larger implants on top of the muscle to essentially refill the pocket .. Did your nipples stay in roughly the same place (proportionally ) with the BA
I had a consult with Dr. Windle about a year ago. I put it off, and am having a second one on the 17th of this month. I know I'm going to move forward this time, so my surgery is June 9th! So excited! In the packet of forms, it says to get a sports bra that buckles or zips in front, how do you know what size to buy? Do you have one you recommend?
Also, how long did the surgery take? Thank you - they do look great!!

4 ays post op!
Sorry for skipping around, I started my blog post surgery so I have to catch up a little. The surgery went really well, I did the 24 hour recovery and I am so glad I spent the extra money to do so! So far I have not experienced any pain. I didn't wake up in pain and its day 4 post op and I have not had any pain at all so far. They are a little tender but not painful. It feels like I worked out really hard and my muscles are sore. They used a local anesthesia. I was awake for the procedure, but it was really easy, and not at all scary like I thought it would be. They are placed really well and won't need to do a lot of dropping. There is minimal swelling and I am on no pain meds. I took a few aleve for the first few days, but I probably didn't need to I wasn't in pain, I was just afraid I would be if I didn't take them. So no pills to take, no compression bra or massaging them. I was able to sleep without a bra the first night. So far this has been super easy and a wonderful experience. It's definitely worth it to spend the extra few hundred dollars for the 24 hr recovery procedure. There is way less risks as well with this procedure. I couldn't believe it was real and I didn't want to get my hopes up, but so far the recovery has been really easy. You can look up Dr.Tebbets and learn all about how the procedure is done. He is the one who came up with it. Sorry for rambling on, I just want to give you guys a review of the 24 hour recovery because I couldn't find hardly any information about it from first hand experiences so I thought maybe it would be helpful to some of you to know there is a much easier way to recover and it is real! I hope this is helpful. I am going to post pictures from days 2 and 3 post op. They look painful because there is some bruising, but honestly they do not hurt at all and I am on absolutely no medication. Did I mention I am taking care of my 2 and 5 year old with no problem whatsoever? I can raise my arms above my head as well. The only time they start feeling a little sore is when I'm sitting down for too long. If I'm up and moving I feel great!

You Look great! Glad to hear you are doing well!
Thank you!
What exactly is the 24 recovery surgery and how isn't different than standard surgery???? How do they do it???
Basically, they are much more gentle and cause less trauma to your body during the surgery. They cauterize the blood vessels so there isn't any bleeding, which is why you can raise your arms above your head and you don't have to wear a compression bra to control bleeding, because there isn't any. They want you to gently exercise the muscles right after surgery which helps them to heal faster. They also do local anesthesia instead of general. It is easier for your body to recover without being put under. If you would like more in depth information about it, you can visit Dr Tebbets website. They have a video of him doing the procedure so you can see the difference.
I actually first heard of the procedure while searching YouTube for breast augmentation videos. I came across the 24 hour recovery on the show "The Doctors," from a little clip on YouTube, then I started researching to see if there were any doctors close to me that offered the surgery. I think it is more popular in bigger cities and with the more skilled plastic surgeons. My doctor, Dr. Brian Windle has been a surgeon for almost 40 years and is a well sought after surgeon. He has won awards for his work, and is board certified, so I knew it wasn't a gimmick, although I was still skeptical. I figured I would plan for the worst and hope for the best, and it turned out better than I had thought it would! It is definitely worth looking into.
I already had my surgery but it sounds so intriging :)
I had breast revision surgery so don't know if I would have been a good candidate but it sounds wonderful! Glad it worked well for you :)
oh I see. I know they can't do the 24 hour if you get a breast lift with it, so I'm not sure if you would have been a candidate or not. I hope everything went well for you!
It did - thank you :) How are you doing/healing???
Really well, I didn't expect to be this well off so soon. I'm thankful I've had such an easy recovery. Thank you for asking :)
I am scheduled for a consultation with Dr. Windle, did you have them placed submuscular? I have been trying to learn more about the rapid recovery but have only seen it as sub glandular.
I had them placed subglandular, but I asked him that question and he told me the procedure and recovery is the same for either one. I think you will be happy with Dr Windle, he is a good surgeon. I hope everything goes really well for you. Let me know how everything turns out for you!
I am so glad to hear that. I was going to put the procedure off until next yearbecbecause of work commitments but with the rapid recovery I can do it this spring. After waiting 15 years I am very impatient. Thank you for sharing your experience.
15 years is a long time to wait! I'm so happy for you, hope you love them. Good luck!
Congrats you look awesome! I only took motrin for a week, Im sure I had a cocktail in the i.v but refrained from taking the Norco prescription. feeling better everyday too-with 3 young kids Ive been pretty tired but yesterday and today feeling more energetic xo thnx for sharing your story xo
Did you do the 24 hour recovery? I'm glad you had a good experience too, especially with 3 young kids! I have 2 and it is hard for them to understand that they have to be gentle around mommy, I couldn't imagine being in a lot of pain and bedridden for a few weeks. This procedure has been a dream come true!
Im almost 100% sure it was samea type- i'll have to double chk. But Dr Bengston did describe same quick procedure as you did except i had full anesthesia &i was relieved i was out cold- i remained quiet but was getting super nervous as wheeled into surgery rm. I suspect overs vs partial unders has even quicker recovery. Yours look like they needn't drop n fluff- already there xo:)
I was so nervous to do the procedure only partially sedated, but it was really easy. I remember asking a few questions during the surgery, but I slept mostly. I think the point of it was so I would be up and moving quicker, but It sounds like you recovered just fine fully sedated. I really wanted to be put out, but I'm thankful it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be.
Now that the swelling has gone down I think you are right about them being where they should be, I can't imagine them dropping anymore. I think they just need to soften up a bit though, there is no bounce to them right now.
Awesome u had easy experience
You have a super story & outcome!
