These lines on my face were starting to become my dominant feature on my face. I had never had injectable fillers of any sort, so I was slightly worried that if I chose bellafill and didn't like the look, I'd be stuck with it; however, I hated the look of my Nasobial folds, so decided to just go for it. 48 hours ago I received 2 syringes worth of bellafill, and may go back for a third in the same area, depending on how the lines settle. One side swelled up and we didn't want to proceed with the permanent filler without a clear view. Dr. Windle was wonderful and I am thrilled with the look of my face. I liked his thoughtful and conservative approach. He definitely seemed to havey best interest in mind, and was cautious not to suggest things he didn't think I needed. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror today, and I look much smoother, with my lines so much softer and less deep now. I love the staff who dealt with me during my procedure, and how timely they were in sticking to my appointment time and not keeping me there all day! THANK YOU Dr. Windle and staff. I'll be back:)

You look great ! I too am a fan of Bellafill. I had my nasal labial folds done in 2008 and Bellafill is still doing its magic. I also just got Bellafill injected to my temples ,under eyes and cheeks area. The look is natural and lasts for years.

You look so pretty, thank you for sharing! How many units did you get?

Thank you! That's a great question! I'm not sure how many cc's are in a syringe, but I got 2 syringes:)

How much bruising did you have and did you do anything to prevent bruising?

I did end up with some bruising near my jaw line extending up to where the cannula was inserted, but it was easily covered with makeup. No one ever even noticed. If I tilted my head and showed people in the right light, they could see it. I was swollen for a couple days, and sore in theface for about 5 days, where it hurt to put makeup on in those areas where the bellafill was placed, but not a big deal at all. I applied ice packs the first 24 hours on and off to help with the bruising and swelling:)

Well, I have had the WORST experience ever and after doing a lot of research on this filler. I got my cheeks and temples done. My face all of the sudden and for no reason whatsoever, the area where tbe bellafil was injected got swollen so bad I could barely see. They put me on anti inflamatory Steroid and the moment I get off the Steroid, my face goes back to the same. I read in several forums that this could happen to anyone even years after this filler is applied. I had it done 8 months ago and needless to say, I didnt go back to the doctor who injected this. I have seen a Plastic Surgeon and an Expert on Filler Injectables, there is NO way of removing this product from your face except for Surgery. I am supposed to see a Dermatologist with extensive experience on these procedures. The Steroids are very bad for you and as I have read a lot about people that used this product and have had the same horrific problem. I am suing the Dr that did my face big time. Just be careful and use something they can remove.

That's truly horrific! I couldn't even imagine. ..prayers to you for healing and a non scaring remedy.

Thank you

Sorry to hear about your experience. Could you please keep up informed about the removal process.
March 11, 2016
I will keep you guys informed as to what happens

thank you, I'm thinking of getting this for my nasal labial folds and the big selling point is it's permanent. The thing that worries me is what if I don't like it. Bellafill does have a 91 percent approval rating.

Well, the product hasn't been in the market that long, therefore it is kind of new and as we age our skin gets thinner, so you most likely will end up with lumps on both sides which can't be removed. I would consider something else.
March 12, 2016
Well, I was told that the product injected dissolves just like something like juvaderm would, but what remains in it's place is your own collagen, which has been stimulated to grow by the injection of bovine collagan. Those initial lumps that can sometimes be felt but not usually seen are supposed to smooth out.
March 12, 2016
That is not true at all, the collagen is absorbed by your body within 6 months, the lumps will remain and if you get them, most likely they will remain, I can feel them, Bellafil is supposed to adhere to your body abt 6 months after the injection and become permanent, it won't dissolve, do some research on Artefil ( not sure abt the spelling ) and you will read what this product actually does.

Beautiful results!! Please let us know how long it lasts for you.

What has been put in will last forever, but faces continue to lose volume and fall, so there is the potential to want more filler down the road. I love the softened lines:)

yes it looks wonderful...cannot wait to try it myself!
