Overall rating

I was drawn to this surgeon based on reviews and that she had been featured in New Body magazine. I had a consult with a nurse who said I was not tight enough for liposuction for my saddlebags. I'm 5'3 maybe 110 lbs. I was suggested to get coolsculpting. Unfortunately, you don't get to see Dr. Kilmer for this procedure. I paid for 6 treatments at ~$5,000 and it's done in the space next door to the center. The massage therapist is the person who actually provides the treatment and the worst part is I didn't feel comfortable complaining because when I called they said it would take time to see results. But, instead of allowing me to speak to someone with the ability to do something, I got transferred back to the masseuse. That's really unfortunate because they get trained and they are not being measured by any medical doctor that can view the areas treated and explain the physiology of the dermal layers and see what I am trying to convey. I would have preferred if they kept records on progress or change in body composition, but you go, undress, make tedious conversation and see you next time. I would not recommend this practice, but I cannot say that the procedure was effective or not because it's not something that can be discerned easily. I don't know if I have resistent fat layers, or if I didn't get the number of treatments that was right for my body type. Also, regarding this physician, she doesn't see just any client so my whole point in traveling to her was for her experience and consultation but you don't get past reception. Live and learn...
