Today is two months out. I am happy with my tummy tuck and I think it's one of the best things I have ever done for myself. My results are very good and I can look pretty good in almost any clothes I choose. I don't have to try to hid my belly anymore.
I have ran 3 times since my surgery in races...two 5ks and one 10k. The first race was really hard because I think I was trying to brace my core and it hurt. I was only 3 weeks out at that time. The 10K I did last weekend at 7 weeks out and I felt no ill effects from the tuck. I am back to working out. I am 100% in cycling, 90% in weights and like 50% in core work. It's hard to work upper and lower abs and I feel stinging. I think my swelling is setting down but I am usually a bit puffier after I workout. My scars are OK.. not raised or anything and well hidden by panties. My belly button will be nice someday once the redness settles down. If you are thinking about a tummy tuck and you can have a positive attitude you will do fine.

So I'm 30 days out from surgery. I am feeling pretty normal.. I am working our regularly and I ran a 5k this past weekend. It was dfficult becuase you move your core a bit when you run, but each day I get better. My scars are well hidden by underwear and I am happy with my results. I still have swelling, especially after working out, but my dr said that was to be expected. I am comfortable sleeping and I have begun lifting again (light). This is one of the best things I have done for myself. I feel the same.. but I looks so much better. I am happy.

Day 21- I am doing very well. Physically I am about 90%. My hips are still a little sore and I still swell, but overall I am doing very well. My glue is coming off and I have been cleared to swim etc. I ran a mile 2 days ago and did ok.. back to pre op times. I taught a cycling class yesterday so I am healing well. The dr. did check for a seroma again yesterday just to make sure but there was none. He said I no longer have to wear my binder as well. He suggested a support garmet for comfort. I am runing a 5k on Saturday so we'll see how it goes. I am still very pleased with my decision. I am so thankful for the support of my family and my best friend. It has meant so much to me on this journey.
