Well it's been a week! The girls are starting to look more and more normal!!! Still have a lot to go, but they don't look like frankenboobs anymore!! Pain is minimal if any now, I'm all done my antibiotics and not taking pain medications of any sort anymore. My back also has calmed down in the pain department. I'm back to work, and the ladies are occasionally looking at me and I think they are wondering what's going on, but no one has said anything… So wearing the 2 padded bras over the past 2 months has paid off in that aspect. Although now…. It's ALL ME!! It's quite the feeling when you brush up against something with your girls and actually feel what you've brushed up against! I was so used to not feeling, because the padding in the bras I was wearing masked all that. but now every time I feel something, it makes me to happy that it's ME! I was having some issues with the recommended post-op bra, it was so uncomfortable and tight and leaving huge impressions on my skin. I was at the point of wanting to rip it off the second i put it on after a shower. So I went back to the store I bought it at and the ladies in there were soooo incredibly wonderful and helped me right out. She adjusted it properly and to my surprise tightened to the tightest setting. I thought she was nuts when she did that but to my surprise, I am in much more comfort, and it's actually a relief for my girls when they are snugged up in my bra. Anyways, here's a post of photo, I'm loving how they are starting to take shape.

Congrats! I am so glad you posted a review about the mentor HP's. My surgeon exclusively uses mentors and I have tentatively decided on 375hp/400hp. I keep wavering back and forth between the mod plus, but like you, I felt the HP seemed to sit better on me. How are you feeling now? I would love to see some pics of your progress. Hope you are having a smooth recovery!!!

Thanks for posting photos. I have 2 weeks till my surgery and after seeing your photos i feel so much better about the situation because yours look great! I am also thinking of going with 375hp, i also have 2 boys around the same age as yours too! How long till you were able to lift them? I'm a little concerned about that considering my husband is on deployment and i will only have extra helping hands for a few days..

Not sure if you've had your surgery yet. But I was told not to lift for 3 weeks. I was however able to have my boys crawl up in my lap as I was kneeling down, and stand up that way. I found I didn't use my pec or arm muscles too much that way. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. It's been a while since surgery. They've settled and am so happy with my results!

Yeah I'm actually 9 days post op. It has been difficult not to do too much because I really feel like I can, I just know I shouldn't. Good to hear you're happy though!

Pain!

Today is day 4! I was able to shower today and man what a relief! All I wanted to do was stand in the shower and let the water run down my back. Let me tell you, my back is killing me! I can handle the boob pain, that hasn't been hard at all! It's my back, laying semi upright to go to sleep is ok in the beginning, but as the night progresses, my back KILLS!!! I am hardly sleeping because I'm in so much back pain. And it's not from the implants, its from shitty sleeping positions, not being able to move around! And I have to sleep like this for a MONTH!? On the flip side, my girls are healing nicely, very minimal pain, just a bit of numbness on my right breast. My right is a bit more stiff than my left but all in all I can't complain. They are both looking great! And am very happy with my decision!

Sorry to hear about the sore back :(. I really don't think you will have to sleep like that for a full month. I actually never slept on an incline at all.. I don't think my back could have handled it. As far as I know, the reason that some PS's suggest to do it is because it helps with swelling. My PS said to sleep however I was comfortable. And I would rather have more swollen boobs than an aching back, so flat back sleeping was the clear choice for me! Great to hear you are happy with your new boobs :). Looking forward to updates!

I am 17 days post op, I had to sleep semi upright for 2 weeks. I found sleeping on the sofa with lots of pillows more comfortable. I'm back in my bed now but am still using an extra pillow as I can't get comfortable laying flat yet. Happy healing.

Got the Girls!

Well This update is going to be brutally honest! Don't get me wrong I am so happy with the surgery! I love having boobs!!! It's kind of funny, when I go to touch them, I feel ME! Not padding from the 2.. yes 2! bras that I've been wearing over the last while. That in itself is amazing! Lets start from the beginning. We arrived at the Clinic at 11am on the dot. We were checked in to a Pre-op room where one of the nurses came in and went over how the day was going to unfold, and did up some pre-operative paperwork, and had me take 2 Tylenol. Next in came the anesthesiologist, he asked me a series of questions, mostly do you smoke what medications are you on… etc. Then came in the surgeon. He asked if I had any questions or concerns about the surgery. Which I didn't.. He drew on my chest where the my crease naturally sits, so that the incision he makes stays in the crease not part way up or down my chest. Then re-checked my implant size. After all that was done I kissed my hubby goodbye and off I went into surgery. All I can remember is the nurses laying me down on the operating table and hooking me up to the iv and saying see you soon have a good sleep. I don't remember anything. I thought I'd at least remember "trying" to fall asleep, but NOPE! just OUT! haha. Next I was waking up in recovery, very sleepy and kind of nauseous. The nurses just told me to rest and would check on me in a bit. I believe I was in recovery for a little over an hour and a half before they let my hubby come and get me. They got me dressed, put my post operative bra on (WAY TOO TIGHT) went over the post-op care sheet, and wheeled me downstairs to where my Husband was waiting with the car. Since I was from out of town we had to spend a night in a hotel, which I was thankful for. We got to the hotel and I rested the entire duration of the afternoon and evening. I did throw up from the drugs on the way to the hotel. but let me tell you, after I did I felt a million times better. My husband was great, he had me up every few hours to walk up and down the hallway of the hotel, to prevent blood clots forming, he made sure I had my medications at the appropriate times and that i had some sort of food in my stomach. I started feeling like I was going to throw up again, so he had me lay down and it soon passed. That has pretty much been the worst part, I don't do well with nausea. And even on day 3 (today) I get light headed and feel a bit sick. I can manage the pain, the tight bra, but I'm not doing too great with the sick feeling. I also didn't realize how much you use your pec muscles until you can't use them! I couldn't even pull my own pants down to go pee. So again I had to ask my hubby for a hand.. I broke down in tears asking him for help to pee. I laugh now, but at the time, I was so broken! haha. Jump ahead to day 3! Today! Doing much better, I am able now to slowly get myself dressed on my own, I took off my bandages (not the steristrips) as they were so uncomfortably itchy! and were driving me bonkers. I also changed to a different bra, A zip front UnderArmour sports bra with no underwire. I have to say that it is much more comfortable than the underwire post-op sports bra that I was in. I'm not taking any of the prescription pain medication anymore, just on extra strength tylenol, my vitamins and the antibiotics. The prescription pain killers worked good, but made me a bit loopy! And backed up… if you know what I mean. icing my chest also has helped a lot to ease some of the discomfort. Every day I'm feeling better, the surgery was definitely worth it, but I can't wait to feel back to myself. My parents still are looking after my 2 boys, I'll get them back home sometime tomorrow, which will be nice. I'm a little worried as they are very active and I won't be able to pick them up for at least a month! Which I was shocked about. I'll try to post some pictures soon! Hope everyone is doing good with their pos-ops!!!

Hi So glad to hear that your happy with your BA. I'm currently considering getting a BA and have had one initial consultation. I am very small (aa cup) and like you want to be a c cup. In my initial consult the surgeon indicated that he would need to lower my crease from where it is today. Did your surgeon make the incision in your natural fold or below. Hope to hear from you soon as well as hearing your recovery. I've found this site so helpful. Cheers,
