A month ago Dr. Rumalla performed a breast reduction on me to remedy severe pain I'd had for a year.
Concerning Dr. Rumalla:
I wish he was my family doctor. I've worked in health care for 8 years and he is the most "human" doctor I've ever run into. I felt comfortable talking to him, telling him my concerns and worries because he actively listened. Dr. Rumalla is young, energetic, and positive, but he doesn't sugar coat reality. He tells it like it is, so when he told me right before surgery that he was going to do his best I felt great and ready to start.
Concerning Dr. Rumalla's staff:
They return phone calls! They complete paperwork in a timely manner! From a patient's point of view, the office runs smoothly, the staff get along, and I've yet to wait more than 10 minutes in the lobby.
Concerning the surgery itself:
Breast reduction surgery recovery is painful. But, I was well prepared for that. Dr. Rumalla's staff provided me with a great deal of written information that covered every "what if" that I could imagine. Even as painful as it was, by day 2 I'd decided that if I had it to do over again I would. All of my headaches have stopped, my shoulders no longer hurt, my thorax is no longer strained, my posture is better, my clothes fit correctly, and I just feel better in my own skin. The incisions are perfect, I will have very minimal scarring, and they’re almost perfectly symmetrical. He can definitely wield a scalpel.
