In the spring of 2014, I found myself facing a bilateral mastectomy to be followed by reconstruction after being diagnosed with breast cancer earlier that year. Needless to say, this was a whole new world for me filled with uncertainty and fear. However, upon meeting Dr. Vishnu Rumalla during our initial appointment, I immediately felt at ease due to his charismatic personality and high level of energy and positivity.
