In the spring of 2014, I found myself facing a bilateral mastectomy to be followed by reconstruction after being diagnosed with breast cancer earlier that year. Needless to say, this was a whole new world for me filled with uncertainty and fear. However, upon meeting Dr. Vishnu Rumalla during our initial appointment, I immediately felt at ease due to his charismatic personality and high level of energy and positivity. In addition, Dr. Rumalla and his entire team were very patient and kind not only with me, but also my family members whenever we had questions on surgery day, follow-up appointments, etc. I am so very pleased with the final results of my reconstruction journey, and I am grateful to Dr. Rumalla for being there with me every step of the way!
