Wide awake numbed lip implant. My lip was so numb...

Wide awake numbed lip implant. My lip was so numb I didn't feel a thing during the 5 min or less procedure. I already had good lips to begin with I was previously getting fillers to make them even more full but I feel like the fillers don't last long at all, so after spending $1500 on syringe after syringe I figured I might as well pay the 2k for a lip implant. The first night it was pretty sore and right feeling and the next day still a little uncomfortable but noting unmanageable. Not sure if it's a big difference yet as it has only been a few days now. I'll post more pic when it's completely healed. Also if your in the Sacramento, CA area go visit Dr. David Kaufman in the Folsom, CA area he is hands down the best plastic suergon for any of your cosmetic needs.

Day 5

Still a little swollen but a lot better and still bruised even now on day 6 but I'm loving the results. Feels kinda weird in there but hopefully the silicon implant softens a little more after a few weeks goes by.

If you read my post it clearly says I have a lip implant on the top that's what the post is about and I know I had good lips to begin with me wanting to enhance them just because is my choice and is what I like I could care less what someone thinks I should or shouldn't do. Plastic surgery is for the patient to be pleased not to please everyone else ✌

Preach girl
You look great before and after. As long as YOU are happy that's all that matters

Oh dear?? You're insulting her and saying she doesn't look good now. That's not a compliment

Listen in my view she didn't need it and looked more natural before with filler. If you don't like my view and you think are the only person entitled to a view then you clearly don't understand this site! I have had fillers myself for years myself so based on my experience she didn't need it in her lips they looked gorgeous beforehand. It's not insulting it's my view as a fellow filler user. As for oh dear....that's in response to the negative responses to my comment! Good lord now I remember why I never comment on anything on social media! Crazy!!!

And let's make one thing clear.....what I said was constructive criticism I didn't insult anyone.....! I never once said she didn't look good....anyone with a pair of eyes can see the lady is gorgeous....hence why I said you didn't need to go any further with an implant!

You stated it looked like I had implants which I do and wheaten or not I needed surgery is not giving someone a compliment. Stay off my comments and have a nice day

You r coming along really good. Thx for sharing. U know where the top sweatheart lip (center) is, do u think the implant can not be put in that area or would that be strange? Just wondering . . . my lips are shaped a lot like yours. Appreciate your input. (((Hugs!)))

No I wanted more volume in that area too but the implant is made to fit the pocket area of your lip so it can really only sit on the inner most side of your lip. You could always do an implant and add filler to the outer lip of your lip.

Hello,
I was just wondering if you have any difficulty smiling or talking or anything? I really want to get an implant, too, but I'm just worried that it would affect this and make my face...unnatural??? Thanks, you're gorgeous, btw!!

Hello BellaAshley, First of all I want to compliment your lips. They are beautiful!!!!!! I have been researching getting lip implants. After seeing your pictures, I have decided to make an appointment with Dr. Kaufman. I want to do this. I have been getting lip fillers and mine dissolve after 6 weeks!!!! The amount of money I have spent exceeds the cost of the lip implants. I am a bit nervous because I will have to return to work 6 days post procedure. Thank you for posting.
