Lip implant removal

So 4 years later and I had the lip implant removed. It was a little tight feeling and I honestly like the look that fillers can give better. It was easy to get it taken out and was only sore for about 3 days.

did you notice any shifting years later before you got them removed? or just didn't like how they looked any more?

I didn’t notice any shifting at all I just like how my lips looks when getting filler, the implant didn’t give me that same pucker up look. It also looked pretty good even after taking it out.

No after removing it it just looked normal it was a little swollen the first few days but went down. I was lucky it didn’t look deflated asymmetric or anything like that after removal. I would say a lip implant though is more for someone who doesn’t have good volume of lips to begin with because the implant goes on the inner side of your lip, so it will not make or give an effect of a puckered lip like a filler can do since filler goes where the nurse or dr places it. I have seen one of the nurses that used to do my lip fillers after she took her lip implants out her lips did look deflated and she had to do a fat transfer to her lips to make them look normal again. She told me she took them out because after years of having them they started shifting. So I guess everyone experience will be different for sure

Lip feels a lot better and more natural I can only feel the implant if I physically touch my lip, otherwise it feels fine.

Hello BellaAshley, First of all I want to compliment your lips. They are beautiful!!!!!! I have been researching getting lip implants. After seeing your pictures, I have decided to make an appointment with Dr. Kaufman. I want to do this. I have been getting lip fillers and mine dissolve after 6 weeks!!!! The amount of money I have spent exceeds the cost of the lip implants. I am a bit nervous because I will have to return to work 6 days post procedure. Thank you for posting.
