$500

I was quoted $500 for one treatment of Sciton Skintyte for my fine neck wrinkles at a local med spa. The procedure was done by an aesthetician and took about 45 minutes. It was extremely painful even after numbing gels were placed on my neck. I tolerated the procedure because I didn't want to waste $500 due to not being able to tolerate the pain. Immediately after I noticed a sensation of tightening but the wrinkles themselves have not diminished at all. It was a waste of money in my opinion.

Hey there, just checking in to see if you have noticed any results, as I understand that results do vary and not always are noticeable right away.

No results whatsoever, not even after I waited weeks/months to see results. It did not work for me.

Sorry to hear that, are you looking into any other treatments?

I don't really know what is out there - I guess I need to revisit the RealSelf forums to see if thera are any new procedures out there that actually work (or at least, for me)

Skintyte recommends 4-6 treatments to get results. 1 treatment is probably a waste of money.

I believe the material indicates you need 4 or more treatments for collegan improvement and tightening.

Hi there! I'm sorry about your experience with this treatment. I am an educator located in Phoenix AZ, and do not work for the company or the physician that treated you. The treatment you received should have been a series of treatments. With any non-invasive skin tightening treatment whether radio frequency or NIR (Skintyte), a series is required to get results. Also, this treatment will help diminish fine lines and wrinkles, but works best on loose skin (laxity). If your looking to treat your wrinkles I would suggest Halo. I'm guessing your in the sun quite a bit (lucky) and Halo treats everything! It's freaking awesome! If your ever in AZ look me up! I will treat you:)
