I am 17 days away from my breast lift, augmentation and tummy tuck with abdominal muscle repair. I waver from excited to absolutely terrified. My pre-op is Tuesday and I'm hoping to have many of my questions answered. I am so ready to feel good again after all this hard work!!! I will update soon!..

Pre-Op
I had my pre-op appointment today. They were very thorough. They answered all of our questions before we asked them and took as much time as we needed. Did some blood work and got a prescription for colace and Dilaudid for post-op. The surgeon was very optimistic about my recovery time. It does not sound like the stories I read here so not sure what to expect. My biggest worry is the size and profile. Because of the weight loss + need for lift and reducing size of my aerolas and my skin is thin, he's not sure he can give me high profile with the cup size I would like (D). He suggested possibly moderate plus as he would be able to make them slightly bigger than with high profile and he said the difference is subtle? He wants to have options during surgery so that he can do what will look the best (avoiding rippling etc) somewhere between 265cc to 335cc. Not knowing is a little anxiety producing but I do trust that he will make the best decision. We also tookpics. Can't wait to see the before and after. This made it soooo real!!!! Today's mood...mostly excited , less terrified.

Awesome!! I think for the breasts you really have to have faith in him. If he's given you no reason not to trust him, then I say just go with your gut and trust that you have explained what you want and he will deliver to the best of his abilities. It's hard to account for so many variables during surgery and I think he is being professional by not telling you what you want to hear for the sake of saying it, you know? If you are pleased with his before and after photos, this should also help ease some of your concerns.
