WORTH IT
October 6th was my date of surgery and everything went SO great. My surgeon was an absolutely lovely women who took care of me. Waking up from surgery I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders ( literally lol) I was a little sore but they gave me some medication to help with the discomfort. She took about half the weight off of my breasts and I went from a DDD to a full C cup. When I woke up I had been told she took a little more from the left than the right but from what I understand my right breast was the larger one. I still have all my bandages on but am meeting with her tomorrow morning to get my dressings changed and to go over the next few steps. I'm surprisingly not too sore and am able to move my arms and do everything pretty comfortably. Dr. Hallgren and her receptionist really cares for her patients. She's the highest ranked PS in my Town. Also, my entire procedure was covered as a BR is no longer considered a cosmetic procedure in BC, not sure about other provinces though!

Day after surgery
brage20October 7, 2016
Went in to see my plastic surgeon at the hospital for the day after check up. Everything went great she took the bandages off and left the tape over the incisions. She says this is the biggest they will be as they're swollen and will definitely shrink in size. I didn't notice until after but my nipples look inverted now and they were never before. She did say my nipples were swollen so I'm hoping when they go down they will also return to normal. Definitely some pulling/rolls at the bottom of my breast because of how tight they are now. Still so happy with them. Also definite feeling in my nipples still, they even got a little hard which I'm super happy about. My plastic surgeon and I discussed which cut she would use ( Lolipop incision ) because she has had higher success rates of women being able to breast feed afterwards. I'm hoping this is the case as I'm only 20 and would like to have chilren in 5-7 years.

my breasts are definitely still swollen and red, but they're healing really nicely. I got to take my first shower yesterday and everything went great. I read a lot of post of women who couldn't move much or raise they're arms after surgery but the next day i was walking around, and today went shopping. I'm sure everyone's experience is different so no judgement to the people that couldn't get up the next day. I'm so grateful for how well they're healing and how much better i feel physically and mentally since i've had this done. I was worried i might have some regrets after but there is none! i don't even have to wear a bra currently and it feels so nice to not have them sag on my stomach lol
