Half Syringe Lip Filler

Doing my lips was not something I was really planning on; however my husband need a half syringe to do his forehead so I figured "what the heck" and took a half syringe for my lips.

I was going for a more full upper lip look as thats what my natural lips were like. Apparently its more common for people to want a larger bottom lip but for me I guess Im opposite??

I still took injection in both the upper and lower lip, however the focus was on the upper moreso.

It was slightly painful during application but tolerable. Ice helped!

I had the feeling of little beaded lumps on the inside of my lips and some bruising for a few days but it quickly went away. I would recommend making no plans to see anyone for a bit after injection as it is very swollen and obvious right after and for a couple of days.

I am very happy with my results. Im thinking this will last me a good year before Ill have to go back for another fill. Apparently these usually last 12-18 months, depending on how quick your body breaks it down

although it wasnt something I was initially planning to do for myself, I think this will be part of my regular self care routine moving forward and treat to myself :)
