Highly Disappointed with the Filler Work by Tania Milling
This is a review of Tania Milling, PA-C. To preface this, I’ve had filler done several time by both a PA and a certified plastic surgeon in Denver. I recently moved and was much looking forward to a much needed touch up on my pout with Tania. To start off, no one mentioned a longer appointment slot would be needed to be numbed, which I already knew I needed. Tania seemed to know what she was doing. Her bedside manner was just fine. I’ve never had a bad experience with lip filler, or Juvaderm specifically, which I had had before and was also used during this appointment.
Early on I developed a translucent bump just inside the inside of my upper lip. I believe this to be from the excess filler put in to attempt to enlarged the part of the lip opposite the Cupid’s bow like I asked for as that was the look I had previously. I had shown her pictures of my previous filler work. I got one syringe like I usually do. In addition to this elongated bump, I have an uneven, bumpy line when I smile without teeth or simply with my mouth just closed. I can’t say I would never see Dr. McDaniel, but the work of Tania is discouraging, especially when these types of things are an uncommon luxury treat for me.

The pic with the bumps... your lips look pretty swollen, so it must have been shortly after the injection.
I have had this before and went back to have it massaged and it was fine. Another time, I waited it out and the bumps resolved. Bumps/lumps with lip filler are very common, especially in the first few weeks. My provider will squeeze me in to evaluate and resolve these minor issues. Hopefully, you called the provider to tell them you were unhappy and they accomodated you.
