Juvederm Filler to Prejowl Sulcus/anterior Jawline
WORTH IT$600
I saw Dr. Donath today for hyaluronic acid filler to address a minor concern I had along my jawline (technically called the prejowl sulcus). Eventually, I'll consider an implant for my chin/anterior jawline in the future, but wanted to see how it would look with a non-permanent solution first.
I'm only a few hours out from my treatment, but I can already say the results are EXCELLENT, and exactly what I was hoping for. This area was a subtle 'imperfection' that was improved with subtle augmentation (1 syringe of Juvederm Voluma). I do have some minor swelling/bumpiness near injection site at the moment (to be expected), but so far no bruising.
Some background on me: I'm an painter, and I primarily paint/study faces, so I tend to see how minor anatomical details can either subtly improve or detract from facial harmony. For myself, I don't strive for perfection; rather I prefer to stick with small conservative improvements to my face over time, without going overboard. I have seen Dr. Donath twice for treatment now -- for tear trough filler & infraorbital/cheek filler in one session, and now prejowl sulcus in another session.
Dr. Donath truly has an artist's eye! He knew exactly what I was talking about, and I am so happy with my results. I know that I can trust his judgement. Although I come to cosmetic appointments with lots of anxiety, his conversational style always puts me at ease, and the staff also deserves high praise for their friendliness.
