Ok ! I am 8 months Post Op and at this time I am...

Ok ! I am 8 months Post Op and at this time I am not happy with my tummy tuck . the scar will be fixed in Oct 2012 but I still have a large fatty looking pooch over the top of my BB and my vah jay jay is so fat that it hurts me to sit down i cant cross my legs and i cant go jogging I have been dieting and working out with a in take of less than 1200 calories a day and workout burning of 3000 plus calories a day and neather of these places are getting any smaller and i have lost over 40 lbs i just dont get it my family doctor told me i need to bring it up to my PS and see if he will fix this problem seeing how it was caused by the surgery in the first place is any one haven any thing like this and if so what have you done or had to do to fix it
i have also found out that the price i payed was for a full tummy tuck and i was only given a small tummy tuck and the doctor said that that fat above my BB would be removed to make everything match and it was not i was also told that my hips and vah jay jay would be lipoed and that didnt happen so yeah I'm not happy
if i would have known all this i would have not done it and saved my money cause i fell like it was a wast
I gave the PS 5 stars across the bord but that rating chart dose not ask how you fell after your TT and if the PS did everything he said he would do

so how long did u stop smoking before you got the surgery and how soon after did u smoke

I think you look fantastic. It is not your surgeons fault. There is only so much lipo they can do safely. You decided to smoke which made you get necrosis. You should be responsible or revisions in my opinion.

I had to go i to my PS office today ....I woke up...
I had to go i to my PS office today ....I woke up this morning haven pain in my TT scare it has been closed up for about 3 weeks now and i thought we thought ( PS and I ) it was healed up for good ..but this morning it busted open and this whiteish and red stuff started running out it in mass amounts ... My PS has to re-open the wound . PS said the opening closed before the deep parts had healed and that it had no place to drain out so I'm back to having to pack this wound plezz TT sisters keep me in your prayers

Thanks for sharing, you look great, btw are you a smoker? because I am thinking about doing a tummy tuck and I have heard if you smoke, your wound will not heal as fast.

smoken will cause you to ot heal i was a smoker and i even picked up a cigg a couple weeks Post -opt ad i got scared to death cause of this wound ... but my PS said that a couple a ciggs didnt do this to me but to not smoke any more and i have not smoked sence that day and i am still fighting to heal . My PS said that some people just takes longer to heal than others and when i got so sick throuing up the day after my TT i busted out a lot of staples ad stitches and it was not found out tell my PS took off my stierry strips 5days after surgery and that i have thin skin so i was dumb from day one . and as of april 24 i bust open again and so now i am back to having to pack it yet again but at lest this time it is not as big ....I would say if you smoke stop at lest 2 months before your TT so that you heal faster and have a nicer out come and don't start tell at lest 3 months after it if at all Do everything your PS says to do and DON'T rush eating that was my down fall I ask my hubby to bring me food at the hospital just 9 hrs after surgery and OMG i was sick throughing up for 3 days i am paying for it now . Ok 4 months and 2 week post-op yes most of you...
ok 4 months and 2 week post-op yes most of you know i was 254 lbs when i went in for my FTT and i said i wold weigh in at 3 moths but lift has been a lil busy so here it is I'm getting on the scale's ..........Woo Hoo !!!!!!! ok here it is 195 lb's that is 59 lb's lost thank you GOD!!!!!!! I'm all most to where I want to to witch is 160 lb's only 35 more lb's to go and I'm given myself tell my birth day Aug 9 to drop it I can do it ....For most of you that is not a small woman but I'm 5 foot 10inches tall that's just a lil taller than most women I know .. any smaller than that and I look sick so wish me luck .. and i pray for good healing and no swelling for all you beautiful ladies out there enjoy life and God bless
