Finally getting around to an update.
It's almost been 5 months since I had my breast aug done. Do I love them?!? Absolutely!! In August I was sized at Dr.Gonyon's office at a 36 G. Although the free bra I got did not fit well, it is very comfy and has nice wide shoulder bands. Cups were for a more full coverage look and instead cut across my boobs giving me a case of boob muffin top. So in my bra drawer it sits. Stretchy unlined bras have been the only things I can find that A. Doesn't cost 100$ per bra and B. Actually fits or at least will massively stretch to support....lol.
Dr. Gonyon's office was amazing! He answered all my post op questions. Carri and Valerie are amazing!! But keep in mind....I'm not a needy patient. I read ALL paperwork and made sure that ALL my questions were answered before surgery. I was educated when I went in and already new the basics of the procedure. This a major surgery that is close to your lungs, educate yourselves!
Anywho, I really love them and they have softened up immensely. My left breast did finally drop in September. I was afraid I would forever be uneven. It just took a lot of time for me to heal, but I also picked large implants which could be why it took so long. My scars are visible but not hard or bumpy. They will eventually lighten up like all my other scars. I do still have some numbness above my scars to right under my nipples. Dr. Gonyon said it takes awhile for the nerves to heal. So I will patiently wait.
I've definitely noticed a jump in my self esteem! My husband LOVES them and it has added a ton of fun to our relationship. It has spiced things up after 10 years of marriage. He is also happy to see me so happy with my body. It's been a joy!
I'm currently eating clean and loosing some weight. It will be interesting to see how my breasts change with the weight loss. Will have to post a picture when I get my weight down.
On another note....doing Insanity has been difficult. Having such large breasts is tough when looking for a supportive sports bra. So I've had to wear my Panache and another basic non wired sport bra over the top. It actually makes my chest sore from bouncing. I even tried wrapping them at the top....to cut down on the bounce. It didn't work....but you eventually get used to it! Started doing push ups 10 weeks after surgery....that's a sore pain I'm not likly to forget. But I am still in love with them and wouldn't change a thing!
Hope all you ladies are doing well and loving your changes also!!

Severe Bruising
My post-op went well. Dr. Gonyon and Carri removed my tape and said everything looked good! Right breast has dropped and fluffed nicely. Left breast has severe bruising, sharp pains and is still sitting high. Left breast is healing slowly. I don't have a hematoma in the left, though I previously thought I might have. Bruising is considered normal and it's slowly clearing so I'm not worried about it. Overworked my chest a few days shopping and pushing carts/kids around. Had to take a muscle relaxant after that. Sports bras are uncomfortable still. My boobs just aren't ready to be smashed together yet. They are softening though! That's the great thing about perky breasts...I don't HAVE to wear a bra...even though it looks like I am! Started wearing my silicone scar strips. My healed incisions are very small and tidy. A few tiny bumps but I'm pretty impressed with how small they are considering I got 625cc. And I know Dr. G used the Keller Funnel thingy. Over all....I'm super happy!
