Just had my phone consultation with patient...
$20,100
Just had my phone consultation with patient coordinator Randi and she was very down to earth and informative. Dr. J recommends that I lose at least 35-40 lbs before surgery date. Seems like a lot but I know it has to be done regardless because after having my second child back in Oct 14' my weight shot up due to bad eating habits (smh). But I have a one-track-mind to shed these extra lbs, the healthy way. I believe I'm about 220, somewhere around that amount. The estimated surgery cost for me is $20,100, that price can drop depending on how much weight I lose. Randi sent me a few emails that I have not opened yet but will after I finish writing this status update. I am so proud of myself for making this life changing decision for my own happiness. So happy to be starting this journey. Peace Out BBL Beauties ;)

is that scheduled date for next year? and if so do you know if they have any earlier spaces.

I have not scheduled a date for my surgery just yet because you have to make a deposit before you can schedule your date. But, more than likely (being realistic) it'll be for next year taking into consideration of my financial circumstances. I'm paying with cash out of pocket. I wouldn't know what spaces they have available, that's more of a question that could be answered after you've had a consultation and paid your deposit.

How tall are you? I've scheduled my surgery as well and have to lose 20lbs.

I hope your surgery goes well and you are happy with your results.

Rethinking My Options
I have already paid my nonrefundable $50 to Dr. J for a phone consultation but after being quoted for $20,600 for my dream body I am highly reconsidering my doctor because that amount is just the surgery alone and not including the traveling fee, the hotel stay, the massage post op, the items I'll need post op, food or medication. I'm thinking about going to the doctor that I originally planned to see last year who is here in my state about 30 miles away from where I live. He is a great doctor. I've already had our consultation last year in person and he was a really cool doc. I loved his spirit. I will need an updated consultation. I've already scheduled the consultation but I forgot the date of it lol (have to call the office). If I choose this route not only is he an excellent doctor and I truly believe in his work but he is also local, it would be much more convenient for me and my situation with two small children whom aren't even school age yet. And I'm sure he is WAY more affordable than Dr. J (no shade just being honest). I've been thinking about this for awhile now, every since Randi quoted me last week, my brain has been rattled. I can not realistically afford $20,600 within the time frame that I want/need this procedure to be done. I will definitely sleep on this and keep you beauties updated.

I think that is a wise decision. I live here in Atlanta and while Dr J is a great choice, there are other doctors that can and will be able to give you the same results. He is extremely high and I wouldn't pay him 6K-7K more then it really should cost you. Smart move!!!
