Life-changing Doctor, Highest-quality Care, Natural Results

Dr. Johnathan Toogood is a rare kind of facial and body plastic surgeon. He combines deep expertise and impeccable bedside manner with genuine care and insight into his patients as people. To have a doctor who is highly skilled, but also so humble, conscientious and caring for each individual patient's physical and psychological outcome is what I think sets him apart and puts him on a very special tier in his line of work.
When I initially came to Dr. Toogood, I’d been looking at having jaw surgery. During consultations he correctly observed that my nose would also benefit from rhinoplasty to achieve a fully harmonious aesthetic and better functional outcome. Dr. Toogood was able to breach the topic in a way that was insightful and with care. He helped me identify something that I didn't perceive beforehand and it was something that ultimately assisted me greatly, since the final result was far better than it otherwise would've been, if left untreated.
After the surgeries, the results were exceptional: natural-looking, and my breathing noticeably improved. The correction of my jaw also yielded a pleasant and unexpected functional surprise: my lower-lip more easily met and 'sat flush' with my upper-lip afterwards. Previously, I was unconsciously pushing my lower-lip upwards to keep my mouth closed.
To say that the results had a marked impact on my day-to-day life would be no understatement. I'd previously had a necessary jaw-surgery when I was younger to correct an underbite, but hadn't considered any surgery to fully correct my jaw till I was much older. Since having the procedure with Toogood, it did wonders for my self-esteem and confidence. I'm truly grateful to him and glad that I eventually decided to go through with the procedure.
Dr. Toogood has since also performed canthoplasty and a direct brow lift (correcting a suboptimal result from another surgeon’s endoscopic brow lift), along with routine maintenance and Botox. Each procedure has reinforced my confidence in his judgment and skill.
His skill extends well beyond aesthetic work. When my father broke his leg, Dr. Toogood performed a highly complex skin grafting surgery that helped him immensely in his recovery. It was a powerful reminder of the breadth of his surgical expertise.
