Office Review: Terrible Communication and Planning Experience

If the prospect of jaw surgery is as serious to you as it is to me, then I would strongly advise you find a different provider than Dr. Steinbacher. There were so many problems with timeliness, communication, and basic respect for me as a patient over the seven months of my planning process that I can't even name them all. To name a few: triple rescheduled appointments, multiple instances of Dr. Steinbacher simply not showing up to appointments (after which I never was contacted for follow up or to check in about the fact that I had been waiting for 5+ hours), staff giving me incomplete and conflicting information, and staff failing to inform me of necessary planning procedures and deadlines. The two times I visited the office in person, multiple other patients in the waiting room were complaining about how poorly they were being treated by the front desk and during the planning process online. This office does not care about its patients or their time. I was very optimistic about working with Dr. Steinbacher given his extensive credentials and before/after portfolio, but the mismanagement of his office has proven too great for me to trust him for such an important procedure.
