Jaw Reduction Surgery in Korea

Hi I’m a 32-year-old woman from the United States who has always been wanting a smaller face. I got my jaw reduction surgery in Regen by Dr. Oh on July 2019. Just wanted to share my experience!! Since I was young, I was never satisfied with my face shape as it seemed too wide as my biggest insecurity since I was young was having a wide face. I’ve searched a lot about the surgery and reviews as jaw reduction seemed more complicated compared to any other face surgery. I knew that Korea was always popular with plastic surgery and luckily, I came across Regen Dr. Oh. I didn’t hesitate to fly before asking about the prices becuz I felt like the doctor had to see my face in person before negotiating about the prices. When I arrived, I took x-rays and was told that my face is wide but especially my chin. I wanted to do as little surgery as possible but I thought that the first priority I should think of is the definite effects so I considered about cheekbones too. It was a bit pricey so I was hesitant but I decided on the day that I want the surgery. One week after my surgery, I did CT and x-ray checkup and on the second week I was taught how to do some stretching and things that I should avoid such as eating solid food or going to places like sauna. I left on the third week and was able to go to work after. It took me 6 months to recover fully but it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend it if you have been wanting a smaller face like me!!
