33 Year Old African American with Deep Tear Troughs and Full Chin - Jacksonville, FL

Connie Jongeward of Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery is amazzzzzzing! I have always been in cosmetics and presenting myself well. However, in pictures I started to notice a hollowing of my tear troughs. I started to become conscious about them and tried to use concealer in creative ways but they were still visible. So I decided to get them filled. Once at the Dr. office the nurse practitioner performing the procedure recommended 3 syringes to achieve the look I wanted. I was hesitant and ended up using a syringe of Juvaderm Voluma in my upper cheek Area and 2 syringes of volbella under the eye. I initially loved the result but noticed after the swelling went down that the troughs were still apparent. So I had an appointment scheduled already for kybella and decided that I would get one more syringe for the undereye area to achieve the results I wanted. She recommended that this time we use Juvaderm as it has the ability to lift areas. She used half of a syringe and I am so happppy with the touch up.

As far as my Kybella treatment I don't really have that much to report as I am only two weeks in. I had swelling and soreness. As of right now I don't see much of a difference but I have researched and I have learned not only from Connie but from my readings that results are more apparent after the second treatment!
