Thank you for starting your review.
I would love to add your experience to the Breast Reconstruction community, but it would be helpful if you could provide some more detail about your experience with your procedure/treatment. I suggest adding before and after photos - optional of course, so that other community members can use your review as a guide throughout their journey.

How long did you give him before you said enough is enough? I'm ready to put this wound healing in more capable hands. This is getting ridiculous. I too am tired of hearing I don't know.

Unfortunately, I wasted 2.5 years of my life dealing with Dr. Csikai. The precious time I wasted trying to get his help and trying to get him to fix what he did actually cost me a lawsuit. After working with a lawyer for months I just found out that I missed my opportunity to file a case against him by just 15 days. Had I filed against him only 15 days earlier I would have been within the Statue of Limitions time frame but because my only concern was trying to get them fixed it never occurred to me to file a lawsuit. But it definitely occured to him! He did a total of 3 surgeries and he kept dragging them out. After each surgery wasn't successful he would tell me to "give it time", "give it a year or so" etc. Now I realize he was buying himself time in order to make it impossible for me to ever sue him and that's exactly how it worked out. He is pathetic. If I were you, I wouldn't give him anymore of your time. I made a huge mistake going back to him time and time again. I wish now I would have seen someone else after the first surgery turned out bad. Choosing him as a surgeon was the biggest mistake of my entire life. I hope everything works out for you!

Maybe class action is the way to go. There are others that he's buying time with too. We are not alone. I think that negates the statute of limitations.

Did he ever culture your infection? If so do you recall what you had?

Thanks for the info I need to look into that. No he didn't ever culture it or tell me what he thought it was. After the prescription cream disaster he just gave me antibiotics and eventually the infection went away on it's own.

I'll be contacting the group "on the back of your phone book" tomorrow. I'll inquire as well.

What infection was he treating you for? I ask because I believe I'm going through the same issues with him now. I'm 8 weeks post op, still having issues on 1 side.
