So close yet so fae
Still asymmetrical. My left breast is perfection. It's torture seeing how close to perfect they are, but I just can't get the other one to budge. Seeing my PS to talk about revision. I know I'm no doctor, but it seems like the pocket is messed up. The right side just will not move down. It feels like a wall is there when I try to massage or stretch it. It's much more sensitive/sore, too. It even moves up really high when I'm laying down. Notice the left (my right) is rounder and higher. This was the least noticeable I could make it. Sometimes it looks even worse. I've noticed my muscle clinches on that side when I'm lifting stuff and moving around. I wonder what that's from...sad girl. ????
Super Disappointed
I haven't updated in a while because I'm very unhappy and frustrated with my implants. The left side had been perfect from early on, but the right one is still not as settled. It's high and round instead of tear drop. It's incredibly frustrating. I had a follow up with the surgeon and he told me not to worry, it was normal. He tried to tell me it was because my chest was slightly asymmetrical before. I just don't think that is the reason, although it could be a contributing factor. I am believing more and more all the time that it is a pocket issue. No matter how much if massaged and stretched and taken vitamin e, it does not go any lower. It's hard, but not really painful. When I lay down, the right side moves so high up on my chest it feels like I could rest my chin on it. The left side has never done that.
I mentioned revision to one of the nurses and she didn't really offer much advice other than to wait it out and trust the doctor. I guess that's to be expected. However, I called to follow up about the cost (worst case scenario) and she never called back. She told me she would have to ask the doctor. It's been a week. I'm not sure what to think. My opinion is that if it's a pocket revision, it should be included in the original cost since a mistake was made. And perhaps the implant should be replaced since it feels harder than the other. Although if it's not necessary, I don't mind keeping it. I just want them to match in shape! The roundness and highness was my worst fear when I decided to get them. Here's hoping they will take as good care of me now as they did before the problems arose.

Sorry it's been so long
Today is officially 3 weeks post op. I haven't had any pain since the first week. Basically, once I got off the pain meds, I was pretty good until I made a wrong move or two. You learn quickly what you can and can't do. The pain really wasn't bad though, it's just frustrating if you like to do everything for yourself. Certain little things were impossible (pumping lotion or shampoo, mopping/sweeping) but overall I was functional. Strangely, I never had issues raising or lifting my arms. It was more difficult to reach my arms back to put on button up shirts and stuff.
I'm in good health, I don't regret my decision. They make my clothes look amazing. Now I just want to work out again! Tomorrow at my follow up, I'm thinking he will okay it. I've basically just been mildly impatient with mine the entire time since I last posted. My right breast just doesn't seem to be much different in regards to dropping, whereas my left breast has been close to perfect for a while now. I'm paranoid they won't match. I guess they've been this way the whole time. Maybe the right one is a slow healer ha.
Weird nipple and skin sensations. Dry, peeling skin, sometimes mild acne, tingly and pinching sensations. Nothing overwhelming but definitely odd at first. My nipples seem pretty normal when it comes to sensitivity.
That's all for now! Here are some pix.

Provider Review
He is so gentle and kind. Makes litte jokes and holds conversation with you to keep you in a good mood. Having all that one-on-one time with him, the nurse and the anesthesiologist made a huge difference. It's almost 5 months post-op and I'm nervous about possibly having a revision on one side, but I trust that they will take care of me.
