I didn't plan to blog this but mama is bored, incapacitated and stoned on pain pills. Maybe stoned is strongly worded lol, inebriated? Lol. Completely legal and prescribed btw. Any who. I'm Jennifer. 37yr old mom to 3 boys ranging from 18-12. All vaginal deliveries. I've always had a pooch at bottom of tummy. Can't blame that on the boys but the stretch marks YEP. In April I decided to change my eating habits and joined the gym. I've lost 35lbs. Leaving the dreaded Dunlap. (Belly dun lapped over my belt) I had an inkling thought of tummy tuck I could never afford or take time off to have done but I made consultation with Dr Fee for the heck of it. He is great! Not one awkward minute, seems very genuine. His office staff is awesome too. And As fate would have it, his fees were not outrageous and it's thanksgiving, so my boss graciously gave me 2 weeks(for starters) without having to sell my soul. I had my surgery this morning at 945 and rolled to recovery at 1210. I was able to walk with minimal assistance to potty shortly after. I didn't opt for the extra shot for pain, too pricey, but my pain is surprisingly tolerable SO FAR. LOL. I have 2 drains, which I emptied once with about 65 output. From what I can tell I have 1 incision from hip to hip just above Mons pubis. I also have 2 incisions in crease along pubic area. Flattening the pudgy area that's always made me self conscious. I'm able to walk, goto the bathroom and get up and down into recliner solo. I haven't changed dressing yet so I'll just post pics with compression garment tonight and tomorrow after or before shower I'll catch a few pics. Anyone have any experience on pubic lift? It was a glorious yet unexpected surprise lol.

Feeling better. Most pain in my back. Can't sleep well in recliner. That crap is for the birds lol. Speaking of, I'm still unable to have a bm. This causes pain as well. Took shower yesterday, thought I might pass out when removing binder but just chilled for a few minutes and the sweating and nausea subsided. My family has been wonderful so far and my dog is having a hard time not snuggling with mommy but she won't leave my side.

Looks great! Just chill for a week. Sleeping comfortably was the hardest part for me. 2 pillows under my legs made it tolerable. 9 days PO and feel totally human again. Trust me, everyday gets a little better..
