It has now been over 6 months since my surgery and I could not be happier with my decision. Dr. Brantley did an excellent job on the TT and now I am in the process of scheduling another surgery. This time it will be some facial and neck lifting along with a breast lift. I am looking forward to a knew me!

Drain Less!
I had my first post op yesterday, day 10, had my drains removed! I feel like I am out of jail! Felt really good all day yesterday. I went out to dinner with my husband. I think I over did it and am paying for it today. Still feel pretty good but suffered some gas pains and have felt a little jittery today. Everything is healing nicely and I am beginning to be able to tell what my end result will be. I am happy.

If you don't mind me asking who did your hyst. I plan on having Dr. Brantley do my tummy tuck in March or April but I am still pretty nervous.

Hi, Zenie! I am getting better everyday! I still swell occasionally and have tightness, but over all I am good. Today is 5 weeks post op so I have one more week until I get released from limited activity from hysterectomy. Scars are healing nicely and over all I am pleased with the TT. I still get tired easily and have to rest. I hope that you are doing well!

Ten days post op
Well, it has been just over a week and it is true. Everyday gets better. When you think it is never going to end, it gets better. I will go to ps to
morrow to get drains removed. I think I will be so happy to have them gone.

Tens days, before you know it it will be a month. Is there any pain?

I still have some soreness and some swelling. I don't move very fast! I looking forward to having the drains out. I have a spot in the middle of my lower back that has stitches. And it is uncomfortable. Not sure what that is!

Zenie, I just went and read your updates again. I hope that you are feeling better. I was hoping for faster healing. We will get there, won't we?!?!

We had better! That's a LOT of money spent! If I'm not happy I'm not going to pretend otherwise, I go back to Florida in December and will see the surgeon then, if I'm not pleased then she can't be either.

Glad to read your update. Looking "cool"!!
It is interesting to see where the various doctors put the drains. My drains were in my mons. Today is my 13th day post op, my second follow up visit, and the drains were removed. Boy that was a weird feeling LOL! I have to go back next week just because there was slight redness on top of my pubic mons and he wanted to make sure there was no infection forming other than that, I'm just still taking it easy.
I do enjoy reading the updates. Stay encouraged.

I feel like there may be 2 feet of tubing inside me!! Can't wait for it to be gone. My incisions where the tubing comes out is slightly red and sore. I just keep cleaning and applying neosporin.
