WORTH IT$5,300
8 weeks Post Op today and doing GREAT! I often forget I have implants. They have become a part of me instead of just an accessory. Not too big, not too small. I absolutely could not be happier with size, shape and overall natural look. A few friends have taken a second look while I'm wearing a low cut blouse or V neck Tshirt but no one has asked anything. I suppose they assume I found a really great push up bra!! It is a drastic difference but with clothes on I can see where it appears very subtle. This summer in a bikini, I'm sure, will raise some questions as it will be MUCH more obvious. My right one has completely caught up with the left and I'm pretty happy about that. NO pain, nipple hyper-sensitivity, etc at all. It is literally like I have always had them and never had surgery. I love wearing lingerie now and have spent a small fortune at Victorias Secret! I never wore lingerie or even pretty nightgowns before surgery. Always tank shirt or Tshirt and frumpy pj bottoms! I have invested in NUMEROUS beautiful bras also. Before surgery I had the simple plain nude color, white and black. Now my bra drawer is all colors/patterns and styles. My fave bra for sleeping is the Genie bra. I wear it without pads to bed and if sitting/relaxing around the house I wear with pads for extra support. My go-to everyday work bra is the VS Tshirt Demi bra. I bought one, wore it for a day and went back the next day to buy one in every color/pattern VS had in my size! Date Night brings out the VS Fabulous bras. Push-up, good support, very sexy. Best yoga & workout bra.... I have not found one. It seems they all compress and another me or have underwire for support without compression and that is just uncomfortable either way you go. I am still searching for the ultimate sports bra. So, here are a few pics taken today. I doubt much will change from here on out so this will be my last regular update. Feel free to comment with questions though at any time and I will respond ASAP.

So happy your loving them! Looking great, you have the best cleavage! O and for sports bras the lulu lemon tata tamer is hands down the best, better than under armor. I wore both and the Tata tamer kicked butt during a run :)

can you work out now? have you tried any pushups since its been 8 weeks? did you go under the muscle?

I did go under the muscle and started regaining control and use of the pect muscle around week 7 or 8. I am 12 weeks post op today and although my PS has said I can do a light workout, I still have not. I am listening to my body and just do not feel I can do more than my usual work, house cleaning, laundry, etc. I do still feel a pull at the bottom of each breast (due to numerous internal permanent sutures) when I lift grocery bags, raise my arm above my head while laying down, or carry a basket full of laundry. So I have personally opted to not push myself and potentially harm what I spent so much money and time on! Definitely no push-ups yet. I am big on strength training and it has been hard to be away from it for so long. But better to be safe than sorry and to have everything heal properly, protect my investment and not have to undergo a corrective surgery are my main goals at this point! Just taking it easy and enjoying my new look!!!

very prudent advice. bi's/tri's, ab's, legs - all good. Chest: no-no. I know some women do it anyway, but why chance it? You can have a lovely figure without chest exercises. And you look beautiful.

That sounds good. I am 6 weeks post op, under the mucsle and missing my pushups. But was told not to do them until 12 weeks- so I will wait. Its hard since alot of excersizes use your chest along with bi's and tri's and back. So you use your chest alot no matter what. I still feel larger than I want to be and hoping they will settle more in the next two weeks!

No push ups forever?

Push ups have never been part of my workout, never liked them at all. From what I understand, you should be able to do push ups at some point in the recovery period though if you choose. I have read that this should be discussed up front with your PS so he/she can advise if going over or under muscle is best for you in that case. Most ladies who do push ups and other intense chest exercises have benefitted better from going over the muscle.

Your PS will definitely guide you on intensity of chest exercises since you have gone under the muscle! Just don't want to build that pect too much. Most ladies I have read from who do intense chest exercise and/or competitive weights go over the muscle for some reason.

They will definitely settle! Just when you think they are finished, they will settle some more! At 12 weeks I still notice differences now and then in settling and softness.
February 19, 2014
I know I wish my PS would have talked to me about push ups before!
February 19, 2014
I dont do any competitive stuff or body building- but push ups have been my favorite excersise and have toned my arms dramatically and my core. May have to find new excersise!

I am glad to hear they will settle more. I was aiming to be a c cup. I only had 250 cc implants. I am a small person to. I went to Victoria secret to get sports bras and she fitted me with 32 d and dd. Too big.

I was shooting for a C, or small D. Wound up a 32/34D in most bras but all VS Demi or push up styles I need a 32 or 34 DD so the cup fits correctly, otherwise my nipple tries to peek out from the sides being pushed to the middle!!!! They seem large when I wear a tank shirt or female fit Tshirt but I'm glad they turned out the size they are in loose fit blouses and dresses. Anything smaller than what I have would have appeared lost.

All is absolutely perfect! No problems at all, could not have done better on size, shape, etc. Scars are just about non-existent, you have know they are there to find them. My surgery was Nov 2013, so I am almost a full year in. I am SO glad I did not go bigger. I am still in a 34D as I was after my initial "settling" period and it is perfect. I am still very careful to wear tank tops with built in support to bed and always wear a good bra during the day and a good sports bra while working out. Although I am sure I would be fine without support while sleeping, I just feel it is a major surgery, a lot of money and recovery invested, so I opt to take extreme care even to this day! Just like natural breasts, implants that are not supported well can stretch your skin and sag over time. I am doing my part to avoid that!!
