An Update, Sebastiano Sciuto revision

Hi guys, a quick update on my revision with Italian surgeon Sebastiano Sciuto. It is going to be 5 years this September after my revision and this is how my nose looks like now (please see pics below). I have to say that i got used to it and even though I see all imperfections, I would not dare to undergo another one surgery.

I am 2 years post surgery, still have the same issues, I am going to visit my surgeon in the very end of September.

facial features in balance and just look like a flawless beauty.. any man, woman who doesn't appreciate such beauty has a problem.. your fine as you are,
stats for multiple revisions aren't great hun, its a huge gamble to try another surgery.. Rock that beauty sweetheart.

I think, your nose especially after your revision looks great! Very Natural and much better than your original rhinoplasty. I am also a perfectionist and honestly I agree that you do not need another revision.

i agree, it looks good on you face and its better then the original one. I am in the same boat as well i had my rhinoplasty in April and i do not like the results and am currently thinking about a re-vision on the one year mark, its super depressing and thats all you can look at in the mirror but it looks good on you so don't worry.

I want to thank you everyone for nice words. This photo is made by phone and not so good quality as my previous photos. I still have concerns with asymmetrical bridge and tip, my cartilage on nose bridge is clearly showing up because of my thin skin. It is not visible in my last photo, but it persist. I hope that Dr. Sciuto have reasonable ideas how to improve it, but... I tend to think logically, if there is just little chance to improve situation, I won't touch it.

I will tell my story shortly, without addition all details. Just want people to know, that rhinoplasty is not a joke. I started my rhinoplasty "adventure" in 2011. Went for septoplasty/rhinoplasty in my origin country. Nose was completely botched. USA was mission impossible for me, so i have chosen famous Italian revision rhinoplasty surgeon. I understood that my nose is botched badly so i was not expected perfection after revision. Moreover, I was against such things as gore-tex in my nose. Only one of my ears cartilage was used. Straight after revision I was happy with results, but... when swelling went down, I noticed indentation in right supra alar in my nose tip and asymmetry as well. I am bit more than 1 year after my revision, I would like to get my nose shape improved, when the right time will come, but on the other hand, sometimes I am thinking, is it worth to try again and again and where is warranty, that results will be achieved.

twinny05, I am not satisfied with front view. Bony part of nose bridge and indentation in right supra alar make my nose asymmetrical. But i am happy with profile view.

It was prof. Sebastiano Sciuto. He is very talented surgeon and wonderful person. I won't hesitate to advise him as an revision surgeon, even if my result isn't perfect. My skin is extremely thin and damage from previous surgery was huge. To add grafts is much more difficult then to to take out and it is often leads to asymmetry. I am planning to visit him this spring and to hear his opinion.

twinny my problem is the bridge and the tip of the nose. I have identation and assimetry , all in all a botched case :(

Wow! I love your results! Something similar I need to have done! I love how the bone is showing through your skin, actually that is what I want to achieve! Natural looking not smoothly straight nose !

you look beautiful. Maybe a little non permanent filler can be put into ur nose in the area youre not happy with? Its better to try that first before having your nose opened up again. Im wishing you all the best of luck :)

I think your revision results are great. I wouldn't risk another revision just because of some minor imperfection. If you hadn't mention the indentation I wouldn't have noticed it. I also had a revision and eventhough my results are not perfect I wouldn't touch my nose again. Good luck to you.
