Hi everyone! Long time forum lurker. First time reviewer! Starting to write this tonight december 30 as i am packing for my journey to istanbul to repair and add the lacking density of my previous hair transplant that i had at age 25 in toronto ontario. Toppik hair fibers has been my best friend over the past 4 years making it look like i have a prefect head of hair. Photos of my natural hair and hair fibers added will be uploaded.

Just finished my fue procedure. Was a long 11 hours. Glad i grew my beard cause the took hair to put in my fut scar

Keep the updates coming! I'm seriously considering using Dr. Cinik to do my HT so I'm following your updates to see what your experience is.

Hi I have just had FUE procedure done yesterday in Istanbul. Here is more on my journey: I flew in from NYC and was met at the airport and was taken to breakfast, and then on to the clinic. They draw blood, shave your head and go straight to work. They start with harvesting, which generally is behind the head in the donor area. A lot of little shots, which is painful!! After that you go numb. They harvested 4200 graphs, the next step is to plant graphs. Again more shots. And then 4-5 hours of planting.
I am very pleased with my new hairline, it looks natural. Also, my head is not as bloody looking as I expected. Ii will head back to NYC in 5 days and won’t try to hide my scalp while traveling as I thought I would need to do not to scare fellow travelers.

Congrats, how many grafts did you have? Did they put grafts everywhere on top or just certain areas? I had 2 HT's done in Turkey and I have reviews on both of them here. I considered Dr. Cinik. I'm sure you'll have a great result.

Where did the doc take the hair from beard ? Do you have swelling there now? I’m interested in hair transplant and would rather have some or my beard hair taken than to have thin back of head. Any pointers and advice will be appreciated

Day after procedure.

Surgery was 11 hours. I was exhausted by the end and still am!. I had 4000 grafts that was placed everywhere on top the head. Hair from my beard was extracted as well! Thank god i grew it! And placed in my fut scar. Going for my follow up in an hout.

Pleased for you. By all accounts you've chosen one of the best clinics. The reason I might go there is that they will use beard/chest hair. All the best and keep us updated.

Hey, looks good. I have also had a previous fut and would love to hide the nasty scar.May I ask how much the whole procedure coasted? / Karl
